My Ultimate Milestone Reached!!

Before we get anywhere. I have no intention to flex or anything, I've been a member of this lovely community since 2022. Not once I post anything like "hey look at my car and my watch". But I'm excited! I want to share this success with random friends on the internet. (I don't have a place to express this excitement, and my wife thinks I'm crazy, so please bare with me).
I am just a 9 - 5 guy who were lucky enough to get to work in different countries for a specific (legal) job, plus my wife and I we have no kids of our own (yet).
It's the very dream I dreamt to archive when I bought my first luxury watch, a Tag Heuer Aquaracer, in 2010 , and that is to one day acquire the Holy Trinity of Swiss Watches. (It may seem stupid and pointless to many, I know, but it is my big stupid dream.) And today is that day!!! Woooooo!!!
I got the PP Nautilus 5726A from my parents as a wedding present. It was my dad's watch. Actually it was in my possession since 2017, but was never actually "mine". Love it, it is one of my most complicated watches in the collection.
Fast forward to the spring of 2022 (at the end of the pandemic), I was offered a 4 years contract in Switzerland, being a watch fanatic, it was an offer I could not refuse.
Second day after arriving in Switzerland, I went straight to AP and VC boutique in Geneva, to register my interest for a white/black dial RO and blue dial Overseas, and went through all those talks "to make sure that I am not a flipper" shenanigans.
I told them, no rush. But I do visit the boutiques every now and then whenever I passed by.
Spring of 2023, got the call for the black dial AP RO 15510ST, quicker than I thought. Can't say no to it.
Winter of 2023, got the call for the blue dial VC Overseas 4500v (last piece of their 4500v, according to them). I was really reluctant because I have only bought the previous watch months before. But one of my watch mentors once told me that "the best time to buy a new watch is yesterday and the next best time is today. If you wait until a special occasion or milestone, you risk paying a lot more for it (prices tend to only go one way)." So I bought it with the condition that I will not unbox until my birthday with was yesterday 🙂 .
VC makes the most beautiful blue dial I've ever seen.
Now, my credit cards are maxed out and saving account almost empty 😂 I wont be able to buy new watch or take a nice weekend vacation for a big while, and I have to break this news to my wife very soon since she has been planning some trips the coming holidays. 🤣

Congratulations! Your post doesn't feel like a flex so much as it does an inspiring case of setting goals and then working hard to put yourself in a place to have those goals realized. That one third of your triad was worn by your Pops just melts my heart!

Going with an AD and not the Grey Market : from what I'm witnessing with various YouTube live chats amongst warring watch dealers and enthusiasts, is very wise indeed and worth any hassle. I hope to emulate your successful acquisitions, if not the same pieces, but am in no hurry.

I would say quality wise they are on par with each other, with exception to AP, the polishing and craftsmanship on RO is noticeably more beautiful than both PP and VC. But PP and and VC are far more comfortable. As for the design I like AP the most, again, that Genta industrial design isn’t for everyone

Wow, I’ve handled all three personally, but didn’t know if with some wear some things become obvious.
Though I personally didn’t bond with or become smitten with the AP there was no denying that the finishing and angles were “hyper crisp”.
