Been meaning to downsize for a while to focus on fewer pieces, so I will be saying goodbye to 8 watches all at once. It's been interesting seeing the bidding on these and which ones are getting the attention. Hope I don't regret any of these....but so far it's been quite liberating.

I’ve been doing the same. It’s a perfect mix of liberating / enjoyable. And also horrible and worrisome. Probably some sales I’ll regret and some I won’t think about much again!
Those are some nice watches, I hope they sell well for you.
Well be doing the same, going from 24 watches to 12,...by the way great looking watches
Mind sharing the link for the Hamilton? Thanks!
Yup! Same i just let go of 10 pieces and might let go of more … it feels kinda like you said liberating … I’m trading mine for a piece that I love and maybe have main 10 watch collection … fingers crossed!!
Baltic & C Ward ❤
I’ve been meaning to clear out a few slots. Where do you guys usually sell? I’ve only sold them to a local dealer at a pretty terrible loss.
My collection consists only on Hamilton Murph, Bambino 38mm and Certina DS Diver 38.
Love that Seiko ❤
What is your preferred platform for selling your watches? Can you post something about your process and experience? I have several watches I would like to sell but am concerned about shipping to a stranger then having the watch returned with damage and no recourse.

I tend to roll the dice on eBay. Set a starting bid that I would be happy with and set the auction for 10 days with no Buy it now and no offers accepted. I try to aim for the auction to end at around 10pm on a weekend evening. And then I use a good courier with insurance (Royal Mail in the UK for me) with signed-for delivery. I haven't had a problem yet but I wouldn't use this approach for anything over £1k.
Currently have four up for sale and have cleared out close to $9K in watches this year. With these four, that will go north of $12K
Have four currently with 7 inbound, one more planned. Setting aside $$ for when my Atelier Wen Perception is ready. That will be my only expensive purchase in 2023.
Maybe a Pelagos 39 and Ranger in 2024. For me to drop that kind of cash on two watches, I am going to have to try them on and be blown away.
My collecting is so schizophrenic, I no longer try to make hard plans. If I like it and can afford it, I buy it. If it doesn't stick, I sell it or gift it. Even with money lost, is still a cheaper hobby vs most have had.
