....If you could only:
1.) Keep Two Watches In Your Collection, which would they be and why?
2.) If you could only buy two watches and keep them forever, which would they be and why?
Add pics if you'd like and let's play the game...

Here's my play...
1.) In my collection the two below. Why, They are the most versatile, have the history, and can take a beating. I can wear them dressed up or down, water resistance, value (if needed), and they are fairly tough for tool watches.
2.) Two Watches and Keep forever....a little tougher...
Rolex Sea Dweller and a Panerai of some kind.
Keep:
First watch the now-wife ever bought me.
The dial.
Assuming this hypothetical means I have the money to buy whatever, Buy:

No 1
No 2
The Seamaster 300 & one of the other two - waiting to get the Mariner 1 back from the menders, so dunno if it'd be that or the Aqua Terra...
Two to keep that I don't own?
The Seamaster Spectre & one of the small seconds Aqua Terra's.
Yeah, not very imaginative, sorry 😁👍🏻
I’d probably go with my 2 gifts as my keepers:
My Certina 125th Anniversary DS Powermatic 80
And my CW C60 Sapphire
The two I’d buy (assuming money is no object) would be a Tag Aquaracer Solargraph because I’d want a grab and go quartz watch and I like divers and titanium and Tag are a favourite of mine.
And the Zenith El Primero. Chronographs are my favourite complication and this one looks great.
Keep:
Because it's the one I've owned the longest
This one because it celebrates the best times of my Police career.
Buy:
Omega NTTD because I want it
Omega 60 years of Bond because I want it
I would keep my Cartier Santos 100 & my Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36mm silver dial.
I would buy a Vacheron Constantin Overseas & a A Lange & Sohne Saxonia Thin.
Longines VHP 36mm and Rado Golden horse. Just cos they are lovely watches and a joy to wear.
36mm DayDate and JLC reverso (any)
Keeping my BB58 blue and my Fears Archival.
Would buy a 16570 explorer 2 and a 3861 hesalite speedmaster.
Keeping my Rolex Explorer 36 and my Rolex GMT Master II- Batgirl.
Buying: Vacheron Constantine 222 and AP Royal Oak 41 18k white gold
Keep picture 1
Keep picture 2
Why?
Because I rather lose this game as any of this watches 😁😁
I'd keep my Speedmaster Professional and Breitling Superocean II 44. The Speedy is an 12 year grail watch achieved. The Superocean is gift to myself as I was finish my Naval service. And though it's a Breitling it is actually a good beater as it had already taken a beating prior to purchase.
As for 2 watches to purchase the keep forever, the Speedy Pro again for the same reason. However, the second watch would be the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m blue dial on rubber strap. My desire for an Aqua Terra is from my desire to achieve an engineering degree.
First, the two from my collection.
1. Is pretty easy. My B&R homage. Why? Because it was my first watch I built with my own 2 hands. I love just looking at it.
2. Is a little harder. There's a bunch I can pick. But if I think about it. I got to go with DW 5600. I won't be afraid of marking it and it has alot of functions.
Now what 2 would I go with that I don't own. First one is again pretty easy.
Rolex Explorer is an GADA watch. I love the look.
Panerai Luminor. I wish I had a good reason other than I love how it looks.
Well there you go. Hope you're happy.
Easy choice for me. Seiko SPB151 and Grand Seiko SBGW231.
The two I would keep from my current collection are my Grandpa’s Omega and my G-Shock.
And the two I would buy are a Chanel Cybernetic and a Spaceview on a bracelet.
I’d probably go with my 2 gifts as my keepers:
My Certina 125th Anniversary DS Powermatic 80
And my CW C60 Sapphire

The aquaracer is a decent looking watch but the solar graph movement is actually a citizen e168 that's in £150 citizen eco drive divers
Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. Had to post this.

Great Minds think alike 👍🏾
From my current collection, I would keep my Citizen eco drive Nighthawk and Seiko presage cocktail. For buying I would go with Rolex Daytona and Omega Seamaster
Gotta go with the GADA Formex and also their field watch. Covers all bases 👍
I’d keep my Omega Speedmaster Professional because that’s mainly my weekend watch when I’m with my family. And my Rolex DJ 1601 because that was a gift from my wife for our anniversary.
I would want an Explorer 40 and a AP

I was wondering where the solar movement came from. Still if money was no issue I think I’d still go for it, I love the look of it. Money is always going to be an issue so it’ll probably never happen.
I’d keep my Rolex OP 41 green and my Rolex explorer II
I wore the OP for my daughters birth and the explorer II it’s just my favorite watch I own
Keep: My Cle de Cartier and Seiko SNXS79
Yeah, it will suck not wearing a watch while doing sports but I can live with that.
If I had to buy two watches from scratch and keep only those, I'd still buy my Cle and ... well, the second watch is what I'm stuck on now actually. Probably a Buckley dial Rolex DJ36 with a smooth bezel and on jubilee.
These two (the Stuhrling and the Marc Ecko) are my keepers, because they have sentimental value. They were both gifts from my wife. (Ecko = Christmas 2005, Stuhrling = Valentine's Day 2014.)
If I were a gozillionaire, and I could buy my "dream pair" of watches, I would get this ⬆ RGM Pennsylvania Tourbillon, and this ⬇ Cartier Ballon Bleu:
Not worked out my watches yet, but love the Desperado gif👍
Great movie! I thought it was a good choice for this little game!
Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. Had to post this.
Sam Jackson is epic!

Just look at that Certina. They are so underrated.
The T. Heuer isn't bad either.
Also, Congratuations on your 125th Anniversary.
Yes, you'd have to. Are you in triple digits now?
My first and my 4th. Emergency Mission as it introduced me to watches and my 4th which was my Holy Grail, a Cosmonaute.
Both completely sentimental reasons. It would break my heart to lose any of my watches, but losing these two would kill me.
