They make so many different models that it is probably not realistic to come up with a unique name for each. Alphanumeric codes might be boring, but they allow for universal, easy, and precise differentiation between models and colorways.

That theory makes sense to me. I can only speak anecdotally, but I cannot think of a time I've encountered a heated argument on here. Most people seem to be pretty friendly and respectful. Of course, the comment reply/format might be contributing to that so who really knows 😀

This thread is a great example of why I wish replies would display directly under comments instead being pushed to the bottom of the thread! Would greatly improve readability. I sent this in as an idea to WC a while ago, but not sure if it was seen and/or how difficult it is to re-design the interface for that (I am not very computer-literate myself).
