Hello fellow watch people, lately I find myself interested in white dial watches. Whenever I see a post on here featuring a white dial I always check it out.
Pictured above are the white dials I have right now. Field, dress, dive. I'd a like a more everyday piece.
What I'm looking for: White dial (duh!) , midsized around 36mm to 39mm (more or less, depending on the watch), on a bracelet (I like switching straps but I love a good bracelet), a healthy water resistance (nothing worse than swimming though), my budget is not much more than 1500 £$€ (I feel weird repairing my bike with too much money on the wrist), I like buying pre-owned (but new is ok too).
So far I came up with:
I like it but it seems so very functional, I'd prefer it a tad more dressy
Great watch but I do not like the all-polished case.
I thought it was white but on some pictures the dial looks more silver.
Might be my fav at the moment, might be too similar to my Traska Summiteer though.
Now I hope for the power of the group, I'm sure you can point me to some other watches that'd fit my profile.

Yeah mine looks more silvery then again white then again changes to like moon rocks…

Good luck with the hunt 🍻
I’m starting to sound like a broken record with this one but I’m going to have to go with Chris Ward C63 again.
Comes in either a 36 or 39mm case 150m water resistance and a price of €1015.
Otherwise keeping it British Farer have the Pembroke for €995.
200m water resistance, a similar Selita movement as the CW and I really like the pointer date complication. Also as well as the bracelet this one comes with a NATO and a leather strap.

Yeah the C63 is really the watch that ticks all of the boxes, but somehow I'm not warming up to it. Gotta find a way to check it out in real.
Thank you for posting the Farer, I somehow always forget about them

It’s a bit above your stated budget but an awesome watch. This is the 39mm but they also have a 36mm (and like 4 other sizes).
Love the Nomos club! Seiko Sharp Edge also comes to mind. I also like the look of the Traska. You could design a high quality Seiko build as well
40mm, but meets your other criteria. Limited edition, but you can still find these relatively easy. I got mine new from an AD for a bit under $1500 despite the retail price of $1950.
Longines Silver Arrow

It might be a tad out of price range, but I've had my eye on this Monta Nobel. Has the Go Anywhere Do Anything specs but with a bit more dressy vibes than the Formex.

Longines Spirit 40mm white dial, (be sure you're getting the bracelet version not the leather one.)
You can find very good deals on chrono24 btw. This Spirit is an absolute price/value ratio king.
I'm preparing a review video for this, i'll share it very soon in the upcoming days or within 1-2 weeks i hope.
Another one I can add is also the MeisterSinger Metris Ivory. Have lots of very good features such as 200m water resistance 38mm case size etc. But main thing i'm so interested in this is the one hand dial :) I'm waiting my delivery for the blue dial of it today which i've bought almost a week ago but with a price of 1150EUR for a brand new one 😎
😮 Please make a post with pics in sunlight, this dial!
Here’s a few..the glare is hard to contend with these coatings…but hope I captured the beauty of this piece…

Thank you and congratulations! Looks great!
Look what I've found yesterday while looking for alternatives for the longines spirit. How i've missed them before I have no idea! :)
This is in pre-order right now but Ball also have other Engineers in their list still in the acceptable price range.
Here's the Ball Engineer Master II Endurance 1917 (pre-order)
https://shop.ballwatch.ch/en/NM3000C-S2C?model=NM3000C-S2C-SL
And here's the followers with a little more expensive price tag (I guess that endurance model will also get higher after the pre-orders closed)

and

I know how a Ball watch looks like, pretty similar with the feeling of a Rolex (but in any aspect better than a Rolex for me). And at the end you got "Ball"s 😜
Also those Fireman series are pretty affordable and still 100m water resistance with screw-in crown that makes them super good everyday tool watches.
https://shop.ballwatch.ch/en/NM2098C?model=NM2098C-S6J-SL
And unfortunately, fireman racer seems like out of stock but maybe you can find one from chrono24

Oh nice find! I've never seen them in the metal yet, they do have a distinct Ball look
Ok I promise, this will be the last one 😁 And it is not pretty white instead more a creamy color, but i own the dark blue and the green dials of this watch and it is pretty amazing for its price.

Ok I stop here... Unless you ask me to do the opposite 😁
Great! Go one if you find more, this thread is a becoming great compendium of light dialed watches!

Get the Nomos and find someone to bead blast the case?
Being serious, I love that Farer that someone posted early in the thread.

Seriously, I like that idea! 🤯
Used to be more common on the forums, but I've seen some really neat applications.
