I am growing more and more in love with vintage. Got those 2 babies and a 3rd on the way (longines 1585). Would love to discover more brands or models

That Omega looks f***ing great
Elgin circa 1920s
Omega Constellation circa late 1950s
My late Dad's watch left to me. Dirty cloth as cleaning the watch, needs some Polywatch.
That Omega looks f***ing great
Also wears beautifully 👌 got lucky on ebay. Came with its original box and strap (completely ruined of course but got the omega buckle)
Elgin circa 1920s
Omega Constellation circa late 1950s
Would love a pocket watch at some point. Just hanging on a stand on my desk 🫠

This is what remains when I cut down from a much larger collection.
1969 longines admiral. For me the perfect daily watch.
This Citizen is my only real vintage at the moment. I hope you can't count my 90s Bond Seamaster as a vintage watch just yet.
You found vintage pieces in GREAT condition. Amazing

Is this everyting Hamilton produced from 30's to 70's?😉
Can’t tell you much about them that isn’t written on the dial, and one is late nineties — apparently vintage now. One was my fathers, one was my grandads, and the Avia was an eBay purchase whose box and papers put its original purchase quite close to my birthdate.
Edit: oh, and these are nineties vintage

I used to have a solid sampling of Hamilton models from the 20s to the 70s. I was approaching 100 vintage Hamilton and found that it was becoming unmanageable… mentally. I’m happier now that I’ve scaled back.
1975 Tuna
1916 Brook & Son Submarine watch
Tom & Jerry Seiko probably 60's or 70s
Know very little about this but, I just had to pick it up with that name on the dial😂
And you wiped that ass clean before taking the picture. Kudos mate 👏
Picked up this 1969 Bulova Sea King at a second-hand shop this past fall. The strap was in terrible shape so I swapped it for this blue alligator, which I thought fit the sea theme! 🐳
That dial is crazy!
Newly acquired. 1940s LeCoutre and 1960s Longines. Already did a NWA post on the LeCoultre. Will post an NWA on the Longines soon.
this might be my favorite right now

I LOVE the lugs on the longines. Amazing find. The le coultre as well with those hands and numerals. Brilliant mate 👏

Amazing! You did the service yourself??

No, not my skill set.
Great photo.
I am very interested with where you are going on this, what will be the basis of the inspiration. There is so much to draw on, each era is different.
@Aurelian It's actually going to be based on our current Ellum watch style which was very much inspired from the 50's. Pie pan dial, slim, minimal, touches of gold. We are tweaking the dimension and will offer it in an automatic and manual wind option. One will be a limited release with a linen dial. Trying to get the linen dial just right!

I was just digging around the Ellum versions on your site. The blue hits me more than the others. That won't work with a touch of gold. You are clearly pulling from the 1950's and early 60's Omega with that. The indices are late fifties and the hands are late 40's early 50's.
Let me suggest the route that Zodiac took by adding one numeral. It makes the design cues less direct.
In a cream linen with gold accents,, leaf hands, at a reasonable 38mm, it would be a stunner.
King Seiko KS 45-7000 hi beat
What year?
Just got my first few, humble beginings 😍
I love this old Ordiam: the case shape and bracelet, the arrow tip on the second hand and the way the blue enamel paint has aged are all lovely.
Here’s my vintage stuff
Orient 3Star with a day and date complications. Approximately from the 70s. Bracelet is cheap aftermarket crap, but I really like the looks of it and to be honest, I just can’t take off the bracelets from my watches with a tool I have lol.
Early 00s Raymond Weil Tradition. I think it counts as neo-vintage, but anyway. Love this burgundy gloss strap on it. Proper small, very thin thanks to the quartz movement inside and proper elegant. I’m not limiting myself to wearing it with a formal attire, but often wear it with shorts and band t-shirts.
Vulcain Alarm - The other President's watch. Circa 1960.
