Invicta Pro Diver 40mm

Honest opinions on the Invicta Pro Diver? I know it’s not a Submariner… I’ve heard very mixed reviews but decided to pick one up with a gift card that I got for Christmas. $60 on a flash sale on Amazon for what seems like a decent watch in the price range.

I picked up one of these on an Amazon sale a few months ago. I have been impressed with it so far, especially considering the price. I also brushed the case and bracelet center links, and I think it looks pretty nice now.

·

I think that you can't go wrong with this watch for this price.

·

Ive had 3 invictas great watches, only thing I don't like about them is the invicta engraving on the side...

·

I like them, except for the Invicta engraved on the side. I wish they would stop doing that. I've had one for many years, and it still runs well, although it is starting to slow down, which means it's time for another one since you really don't spend the money to service those movements. Next time I'll probably just get a quartz one so I don't have to worry about it.

One of the best bang for the buck watches out there! Good specs for what you pay for. It's my tool watch.

·

They are lots of fun, I had one for a while. I think it's a good way to test drive divers  without investing too much money (also sort of puts in perspective what it is you're paying for when you get a 10k Rolex, for better or worse.) Enjoy it, don't apologize!

·

I enjoy mine-got it set up as a Connery Bond homage. FYI, their 40 mm 1953 models are without the Invicta engraving,  date, or cyclops. Still have the ghost position,  though.

·

Great value and a solid watch. You can't argue with that. Personally I'm thinking of getting the 1953 without the extra Invicta logo which for me is off putting?

·

Depends a lot on the price, IMHO. For $60 you can't go wrong. The bracelet on mine was just atrocious, with probably the worst clasp I have ever encountered. It didn't bother me, since it was my first modding practice watch. The logo on the side is garish, but you don't really see it while you wear the watch.

These days, if I was in the market for a homage in that price range, I would probably look at AliExpress and their entry-level brands. (Seestern, Tandorio, etc.)

An Invicta Pro Diver "1953" was my first automatic watch and is probably the watch I wear most often since it is tough, good looking, and cheap enough to be a beater.

Solid watch. And for $60, you can't beat it. Nothing wrong with Invicta when it comes to their subtle pieces. The pro diver is handsome and wears well. I have mine in gold with a black dial.

·

I just saw one at a holiday gathering over the weekend; the SW200 variant that cost a whopping $175 with shipping.  It was a nicely put together watch.

·

I’ve owned mine for 18 years and it has accrued more battle scars than any of my other watches by how often I’ve worn it. To me, that’s a testament to its continuing relevance.

I love my Invicta Pro Diver (gray dial-gray bezel).  Very nice watch that you will never have to worry about getting "jacked" by a hoodlum.

I have 2 of them plus a Speedway chronograph. I think they are great. I'm not into their huge, ugly, garish designs but they make good watches, imo. The LE is gorgeous, just beautiful but it's almost impossible to tell the time LOL. NH35 in both PDs. Quartz chrono

I love the pro-diver. Comfortable, great movement, micro adjust, strong ratchet in the bezel, see through case back...your not really wanting for much more. To some, I know there is the stigma of 'rolex ripoff', however I personally would prefer an invicta that does have its own design (although it's close) to a Pagani Design, which is pretty much a dead-on clone (however each to their own and if you own a PD and love it, then I'm genuinely happy for you)

I also have the speedway (wearing in my profile pic) and they both probably have the most wrist time 👍 no doubt I'll be eyeing up another shortly!😂

Right now I have ten Grand Divers and one Pro Diver - which I bid on mistakenly and won - and it gets worn daily! I love that little Pro Diver. The whole dial lumes!
