Hi Maverick5070,
For this one, I wanted versatility and the black dial is perfect. However I have bought these as gifts for close friends and the batman is gorgeous too.
The gold looks great and is probably what I would go for second time round, however all four variants are great shouts and you will not be disappointed. If it's good enough for Bill Gates, it's good enough for me 👍
Just do yourself a favour and buy the MD 106 bracelet on AliExpress (featured), it really finishes the watch off and fits perfectly 😊
I love the pro-diver. Comfortable, great movement, micro adjust, strong ratchet in the bezel, see through case back...your not really wanting for much more. To some, I know there is the stigma of 'rolex ripoff', however I personally would prefer an invicta that does have its own design (although it's close) to a Pagani Design, which is pretty much a dead-on clone (however each to their own and if you own a PD and love it, then I'm genuinely happy for you)
I also have the speedway (wearing in my profile pic) and they both probably have the most wrist time 👍 no doubt I'll be eyeing up another shortly!😂
Hi Ivanromero!
I love the Vostoks personally. Ive had an Amphibia 'scuba dude' and I still have my Vostok Komandirskie 'tank', and I absolutely love that watch for many reasons.
I'd say it depends what's important to you...if it's a back story and legacy, then the Vostok story is fantastic. There is a YouTube video from Wonders Of Watchdom that talks through the history around the conception and design of the Komandirskie which made me fall in love with it in the first place. They are not refined, they are not accurate (+/-30seconds per day in some cases), built to last, which I suppose is the Soviet sentiment.
Think about what's important to you and I'd research on that 😊 I hope that helps 👍
Hi Stevie,
No crown, Im not sure that one is, but here is their best selling

Datejust is a great shout. You could probably just squeeze a daydate if you had skinnier wrists (36 is about 3000 cheaper than a 40 in my experience).
Or as 2 left field options, for 8000 you could almost certainly go for an air-king with change, or if you do alot of hunting and get lucky (and like the look, which I don't!!) A milgauss? I see then for 9000 in the UK with papers, so might be possible wherever you are.
Good luck with the hunt ⌚
