I don’t necessarily have the Khaki Field but I do have the Khaki King and they both suffer from the same issue of having low water resistance and lack of a screw down crown. But even with that major set back I absolutely love it.

Although no suitable options come to mind, the best solution for you is to possibly take up watch repair yourself. I fell down that rabbit one last year and hope to never go to another watch repair shop again and spend a ludicrous amount of money for service costs. Now I do them myself and love dedicating my time to my hobby.

I can’t remember what online dealer I got it from but I totally recommend it! Between that and the metal bracelet I have it on it weighs an absolute ton. But it suits me since I’m a big guy.
