This was the last project watch that I finished this year. It also happens to be my first Fortis watch. Just another fine example of why I got into watchmaking, picked it up as a “non-runner” for a great deal on eBay. Took the case back off when I got it and turns out the click and click spring were loose and all that I had to do was place the spring back in its grove and retighten the screw and it fired right up. Still did a complete service on it since I had it opened up and replaced the broken crystal. It looks absolutely amazing now and it was a great piece for me to practice on to wrap up the year.

What a fun accomplishment! Enjoy it!
This year i plan to dip into watch servicing and repair. Excited and worried at the same time. Shaky hands.
