Tudor Pelagos 25600TN

I finally got a proper luxury watch! I had to purge most of my collection to get it, but it was worth it to me. I think I prefer one really "great" watch rather than several  "good" watches. And this is a Great watch! I love everything about it. It's tooly but still very elegant. It goes with anything. The timekeeping is exceptional. I'm losing about one second over a 3 day period. The bezel action is by far the best I've ever experienced. Now that I own one, I really understand the hype behind the Tudor Pelagos.

I'm down to 3 watches now. One is a Casio GWM5610 G-shock Square, the other is a Longines Hydroconquest 41mm. I'm thinking of selling the Hydroconquest and getting a good field watch. Maybe another Hamilton.

·

Features wise this is probably the best field watch you can get.

It's titanium for weight and skin comfort, has a great orange LED which is nice on the eyes, sapphire, radio controlled, solar powered, digital timers and alarms, ultra wide flat back for comfort and a great size and thickness. 44 lug to lug, 9mm thick.. And it comes in a few versions. 160 bucks from Japan or a bit more locally.

Three was my plan aswell, but ended up with four. But it's closed off now 💪

Very beautiful watch you got there. I went with the Black Bay 36 in blue as my "luxury" piece and everyday wearer. It's in for repairs at the moment 😢

·

Congratulations on your pelagos. Really a great piece IMO. I know you'll get a lot of years of enjoyment from the watch and hope you'll share your experiences with the WC family. 😊

·

What a cool watch!!! Congrats and wear it well :)

·

really good:) Did you look at P39 as well, or were you originally aiming for P42? Why did you choose the larger brother over the P39 if you were contemplating it? I'm in the same boat as you, and maybe you can assist me out.

·

Nice choice!  Looks great on you.

·

Congratulations! Wear it in the best of health and with much Tudor passion.

·

Congrats!!  Tudor is always a great choice and I agree, my Black Bay Bronze is by far my most accurate mechanical pieces.

·

Congrats my man. I just posted a story about my LHD a week or so ago too. Amazing diver and enjoy.

I actually got it secondhand at a local jewelrystore.I But I do have an 8 inch wrist, so the larger diameter fits me better.

I have a 7.5 wrist and was surprised at the bulkiness. I know it adds to the tool-ness of the watch, but it seemed really… slab-y? (I for sure made up at least two words here.) Thoughts on the height?

·

I agree with you about tooly astetic. ButI like the presence it gives the watch. Definitely not recommended for folks with small wrists. At least not the 42mm case.

·

Congrats and enjoy, bud! 🍻
