The first Blue Sinn 556i in Australia is my new claim to fame.
After months of waiting patiently for their release and sitting watching for them to drop onto the AD website, I jumped on the new Sinn 556i Blue limited to 400 world wide.
And today it arrived and all I can say is WOW.
The watch in person is absolutely stunning and the pictures on the website don't do the blue dial any justice at all. It's more of a silvery blue with hints of grey. The build quality is exactly what I've come to expect from Sinn, it's flawless in every aspect and the supplied leather strap with it's deployant clasp is also exceptional, but I couldn't help but put it straight onto the Fine-Link Sinn bracelet I had and was using on my 556i RS. It's a match made in heaven.
So guess what, this is probably the only watch your going to see on my daily watch upload for a while so I hope I don't bore you with endless wrist shots of my new Sinn 🤣😂😉
Just a family guy who works on the railway and enjoys everything about watch collecting including the people you meet and the friends you make along the way. Plus a little bit of banter to spice thing...

It's a dilemma and it's a hard one that is plaguing my mind now having received the new Sinn. What a predicament to be in, to many new watches to choose from, I don't know how I will get through it 🤣

A friend and fellow WC'er PK purchased the mustard yellow one which should be on his wrist by the end of next week, hopefully, and then we shall see it in the flesh. It was actually my second choice, the yellow 💯🍻🙏🏻

Yes indeed. The dial looks amazing with the applied indices, which I had seen on the Mocca dial 556 a friend owns, but with the darker coloured dial maybe they don't pop out and grab your attention as much. On the blue they are one of the first things you notice, the watch is so easy to read at a glance, I wore it all day yesterday and last night when I went out and not a problem at all. The lume is typical Sinn, not super bright but it last for a long time, like my RS model, although there's less of it on the blue one due to it only been applied to the indices which are thinner, obviously.
But I didn't really buy it to wear as a work watch, which is when I need to utilise the lume the most, night shift worker, that's were my Seiko MM comes in, it's a torch 🔦

I really like the strap that it comes on, but putting it on the bracelet definitely takes it to the next level. Really glad you've finally got it and it's living up to your expectations bud. Double wristing with your birthday watch is obligatory for at least the next month or so!
they really are making some great looking watches , I think they are one to watch in 2023 /24 as they could drop something epic
