@dr_raygun The mesh was lovely, i do not like the big gaps but it does dress it up nicely, I got a new clasp cover from uncle Seiko par a recommendation on this forum and now the original bracelet fits very VERY well. Can’t fault the comfort of the mesh, but less secure in terms of opening and closing so it will all depend on the activity, I adore it leather too. Specially those padded leather straps chef’s kiss
I’m in the same boat as you. Started on this hobby in 2019 I barely wear 2. I have 12+ watches I want 4. Started pruning. My my core lately:
I myself though am contemplating losing either the diver or the gmt to make room for a dress.
Personally love this version of the alpinist myself:
Thank you so so much. I have one one follow up question when that spring bar comes out from the clasp cover is it supposed to stay intact. The spring and one end cap fell out of mine thankfully it bounced off my ear so I found it easily and popped it back in ( it doesn’t stay in on its own) but it was finicky. Don’t wanna pop it out again. Do you know the size? I’ll order a spare or few spares lol.
thanks again!!!
Oh now I understand thank you so so much!!
I didn’t know that’s how it works! (Neither did my watch dealer who offered to change it for me) there’s another post on the forum of someone asking the same thing. And I looked all over YouTube. This is super useful info.
