Do you wear a watch at home?

I work from home 2 days a week and on those days I never put on a watch. On other days when I get home I usually take my watch off right away. I get to cooking dinner and it just gets in my way. If you have nowhere to be, are you still wearing a watch?

Cooking dinner is the best time to put those dive bezels and chronographs to use.

·

Yup…at times 2 at a time 😜🤓

I mean, you're not wrong. I barely use those functions in real life so it would be a good opportunity to do it. Buuuut...I'm lazy and default to my phone's timer.

you would!

I allways have a watch on when at home, but I don't wear it at night.

·

looks like I'm in the minority. when I was a kid, I never took my watch off. wore it to bed, in the shower...everywhere.

Guess, I'm just old now.

·

I wear a watch at all times apart from showering.

·

I wear a watch pretty much 24/7/365 ('cept when showering LOL!) and have done so pretty much since childhood ... and that was a loooooooooong time ago! 😀

·

I WFH every day and always wear a watch. It's one of my simple pleasures.

·

I wear my watch at home all the time, except when I am doing tough / dirty jobs, then I take it off, and put it back on when the job is finished.

I don't, however, sleep with a watch on. I am not sure why, but I have never felt comfortable doing that. I take my watch off, and put it on the 4-poster (display case) when I am going to bed.

I have Casios that I bought with the sole purpose of wearing them as “bum around the house” watches.

Yes, gives me a chance to wear multiple watches every day!

·

Not only do I wear a watch at home, I wear 2 or 3 per day. I love all the pieces in my collection and try to give them all wrist time. They are like a second set of children! 😂

·

You had to ask! Lol

Enjoy that watch!

Cheers!

I tend not to that much just because I’ve got a 4yr old who’s always climbing all over me… but now I’ve got a G-Shock I might start wearing that at home, it can take the beating! 💪😂

Felt like an outsider when I saw how many people voted "yes" 😲 Don't know why but wearing a watch without the rest of my outfit just feels out of place 🤔

I'm with you man.

Unless I'm in the shower I ALWAYS wear a watch.

·

I wear a watch everywhere, even in the shower. I’ve got a dedicated shower watch to play with while I lather. I don’t wear a watch while sleeping. If my entire body doesn’t have anything on while I snore I don’t see why my wrist should be an exception.

·

At this point it feels stranger to not have something always on my wrist 😂

·

I wear one around the house until I don’t. Generally speaking the slippers go on before the watch comes off.

·

Yep unless I’m on the laptop! The buckle usually gets in the way when I’m working 😅

·

The 'no's are at 8.7% as of this writing and I am frankly staggered that close to one in ten of a group of people who gather on a watch enthusiast platform would ever skip a chance to wear a watch. I thought you people were my family!

·

I wear a watch pretty much 24/7. If I'm in the kitchen I have on a diver or one of my G-shocks. I have been trying to give some of my dressier watches outings as well. I don't really go to formal functions anymore but a great looking watch always looks great no matter what else you are wearing.

Thanks for the tip. My shower toy is a 75 USD beater. Also, I’m in the Philippines. Hot showers only happen on holidays in hotels. And I don’t bring my shower toy to those.

All the time mate except of showering or something

I work from home, so . . . Yeah. Helps me feel like I’m “going to work” even if I’m just walking 20 feet to the home office from my bedroom.
