You wanted one with lume under.
This is a test dial with green lume as a base paint and purple metallic on top.
It looks like this in the dark.
Quartz watch is cheaper to make, so manufacturers can take more risks with the designs. Many fun and weird watches would not exist without Quartz.
This is the effect I was trying to replicate.
I painted this dial two years ago, but I quess you can never repeat the same thing twice. (Still doesn't stop me from trying)
