Some watches really work well blacked out. I quite like the Tudor black bay black ceramic. And the omega Seamaster that they blacked out. I can’t remember the reference number.

Yes that Tudor is amazing 👌
I've nearly been suckered in to the blacked out watch but I do think the novelty would wear off pretty quickly
I like them quite a bit, but you reach an age where your eyesight is no longer very good, so to speak. The numerals and hands of those watches really become very very difficult to read 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That’s kind of what I’m afraid of. Though I suppose as long as it’s not an only watch, perhaps it would be fine?
I feel like the relative lack of legibility would get old rather quickly.
Despite that, I still kinda want to buy one lol. I think they look amazing.
They do look awesome, there's no denying that! I guess it depends where you are at in watch collecting. If you have ticked a lot of your boxes and there's a space for something different then fair enough.

Definitely.
I’m not at that stage yet in my collection 😅 Gotta pick up a FXD and speedmaster first.
Yes me 🤣that is, I went for the G-shock and Hamilton, still considering Seiko. That is 2 beautiful watches you show👍my only complaint about Seiko is that the Luminance is too bright if on want to stay hidden in the dark or maybe not?
If you wait a bit Seiko is going to bring out a field GMT I got one on order from my watch guy already and it is lush and a brilliant size for any wrist my friend have a look it's lush when I look at it I hear the mission impossible theme tune 😂😂😂👍

@Maverick5080 yeah. I have a citizen nighthawk blacked out.
If it works for Batman…

Closest I come is a PVD from Vaer that I have and really like. Seiko did this one up right imo.

Oh yeah, love the look!
Love a murdered watch.
Love blacked out dials!
These are as close as I come in the collection...
I tried the blacked out SM300 on a whim, and liked it way more than I thought I would !
Does this count 🤔
I have the one on the right. Nice looking, bad legibility though.
I like it, but I’m more of a use over style guy, so if I need blacked out I go g shock.

This was one my latest pick-ups. Had a speedy but found it too big and the winding of the crown annoying. This feels nice and under the radar.
I thought I did, but I Got the Casio G-Shock all in black and I found I could not tell the time on it, so I ended up modding it.
Now I have a Frankenstein G-Shock that can tell time, but I do not wear as it is ugly.
So I am avoiding all black going forward.
I do like the blacked out look. Looks very stealthy, like an SR-71. I have my eyes on a blacked out Citizen Nighthawk as we speak.

Could you share a pic? I love modded watches haha

The textured dial is 🔥🔥🔥
I've had many years wearing G-Shock so the transition to a DLC coated steel watch was easy. Here's mine.
Have it also but modded it
My newest and first black dial watch. The only real drawback is the negative display.
Actually, just finished this build...
