The one watch

If you have to chose one watch, which of your collection would it be or which one, outside of your collection would you choose?

Post it down in the comments!

If it has to be only one watch, I’d probably go for my trusty 5-Digit GMT, it’s fun and basically goes with everything I like to wear.

On the other hand a black dial Zenith Daytona has really gotten into my head lately. But they‘re simply out of reach at the moment 😄

From my collection, BB58. Outside of the collection, it would have to be the Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch

·

Ohhhhhh man, it's a dead heat between my Omega Seamaster 300 Diver (automatic, Brosnan era Bond version), and my Tudor Heritage Ranger. Both are 41mm which suits my wrist and both are great 'one watches' for different reasons. If I only owned one, or the other, I'd still be so damn happy.

·

I don’t have it in my collection, but surely it would be an Omega, Seamaster, probably this

At the end of the day, watches are tools for me. I would not want to give up some of the functional capabilities of my digital quartzes, ruling out all self-winders from the one-watch constraint. This leaves me with my Xonix and this Casio [my best digital watches, with all functions I want], and the Casio wears a little nicer, helped by an aftermarket strap.

Concerning watches I do not own, I am faced with a similar dilemma, just the question: which digital watch? This Berny caught my eye:

Seamaster. Omega Seamaster. Shaken, not stirred.

·

Out of my collection I could only narrow it to 2……. A Seiko 7t32 which was the last watch my dad saw me with before he passed and my 2005 SMP2254 Omega….. couldn’t pick between them. To buy……. Most likely a Pelagos FXD…..

I would choose something that is highly accurate, extremely durable, low maintenance and multifunctional.

The Casio G-Shock GWM5610-1 gets my vote.

It’s always between the OP or the Ex1

·

Despite me wearing my citizen series 8 a bit more I'd pick my ball fireman nightbreaker.

100m, screw down crown, anti-magnetic, and tritium. It's definitely a casual sport watch but on leather it looks dressy enough for occasions when that's needed.

·

In my collection it would be the Timex M79 Hypebeast co-lab. It's a workhorse and love the vintage look. Outside of my collection would have to be the Rolex Pepsi Submariner

·

In my collection it would have to be my 1969 heuer camro

That's a great pic, did you take it?

·

Inside my collection: Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch

Outside my collection: Rolex OP 36-41mm silver

·

The Explorer has an almost magnetic pull, it's so damn wearable. Not grabbing it from the watchbox every morning is a task.

I wasn't a huge fan before getting one, especially as it's 36mm, but that faded quickly. I now struggle to wear anything over 40mm!

I didn't know these were anti magnetic, it's damn near a requirement for modern watches.

Funny, from my little collection I would choose the BB58 over the Moonwatch (though the Omega is very cool indeed).

Maybe it’s because I never owned the Moonwatch and it has always been my grail.

·

Bad, bad man you are! 😛

In my collection...I'll go with my Dievas Marine Mojave.

Outside my collection, huh...

Probably either a Titoni Seascoper 600 or the new Seascoper 300, whichever I can get my hands on first. Cosc certified, 72 hour power reserve for the Seascoper 600, Cosc certified, Sellita SW200-1 for the 300.

It means he can use it like Wonder Woman's bracelets.

Actually, it's just a way of describing how tough or durable or strong something is.

Exactly!! 💪💪

It’s got a Daytona case, dial that goes with anything (blue to black), a hint of sport, and a hint of luxury bling. It’s also got a bi-directional bezel so I track a second timezone with visual reference. And a date to boot. Overall, while I despise the model name, it checks all the boxes for my one watch collection.

·

I would've said the Explorer 1 but I just sold it to get the Exp. II Polar so that would be it now.

I think the yacth master is one of the best in the Rolex catalouge, it is the son of a rolex and a datejust, gret dials and case but sportyness of the sub, nice choice!

·

I always been a common hard working dude and always will be. Casio G Shock all the way for me.

·

It depends the budget and the lifestyle of the owner.

Probably some kind of g-shock, or as a mechanical timepiece, a submariner date.

The explorer is an excellent choice too.

·

Without a question, my seamaster!

·

Rolex Explorer 124270. 36mm is classic!

·

My Rolex sub 14060M.

Outside my collection: CWC RN Diver reissue 1980. Reason: hard to wear the Rolex in a lot of European cities these days…

Easy choice. my Sinn U2

that's a bad ass watch, love it

·

I'm torn between my BB58 or Sub (no-date) within my collection. But out of the collection, I'd hope to get my hands on a JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon! 🙏
