Is my collection finished?
Okay this will be a bit of a mess of unfiltered thoughts about where my collection sits at the moment.
I recently got my Seamaster Seaweed 300M and (a month after) the JLC Master control date. I thought these two would finally complete my collection. I like a small collection since i don’t have the time, occasions or drive to wear a massive collection of (for example) ten or more pieces.
I also like to have a theme with my collection (this will be a completely different thread altogether)
Anyways. I thought I was done but now I’m craving more and some of the pieces don’t fit in my theme or tick the boxes that are left to check.
All in all I’m just exhausted and confused by the sheer amount of choices, so I’ll probably not buy anything new for the foreseeable future (at least for a month or so)

There’s great beauty in simplicity. I think you have a great collection and a watch for every occasion. Time is probably better spent wearing the watches as opposed to searching the internet for a new one.

If you do consider any potential additions, maybe a tachymeter/racing chrono (TH Monaco or Zenith Primero), or an annual/perpetual calendar with moonphase (JLC has my vote). Or go for a classic gold watch, like a Vacheron American 1921 or a Rolex Day Date President.
You’ll know when it’s time to pick up another, you won’t be able to stop yourself when you find the right one to make room for.

This is a great collection @Flolorian. I have a 4 watch collection also and find it to be the perfect amount to have variety while still enjoying them all on a regular basis.
Maybe you can hit pause for a while and, if you feel the need for a change, go for a one-in-one-out approach? Then you can still enjoy the hunt without accumulating more than you'll wear.
The Spirit treats me well. The lume is insane! It doesn’t hold out as much as the Seamaster‘s but the initial „burst“ is brighter! The case is also superbly finished; only grime is the bracelet. That is … not necessarily what I’d hoped for, especially the clasp is very much „last decade“
