London meetup 3.0
I know the floors have barely dried after our last London Meetup, but I have had organising a get-together for this microbrand watch fair in my head since @Timely_Moments told me about it.

I know we are lucky enough to have members of the European chapter of WC who travel across to the UK for meet ups, so thought we could plan a bit in advance for this one so that folks have got maximum planning time if they're able to come.
I'm even contemplating making it a bit of a two day event??
The fair is on a Saturday, so we could maybe meetup for food and drinks on the Friday night, potentially brunch on Saturday and then go do some watch shopping?
Or could do the fair on Saturday and then meet up in London for drinks on the evening?
Is the thought of longer than 4 or 5 hrs with eachother a bit off-putting? 😆
Tagging everyone who showed an interest last time and would be great to meet new friends too 🥳

I’ll go with the flow. I’ve been to this even before - the Sofitel is very secure and has a few bars and lots of places for just sitting and chatting. It can get quite busy at the actual fair. Also being on the Elizabeth Line, its quicker to get to now (from central London. Also, bear in mind there’s probably the Watchpro Salon around November time - where a lot of these brands will also be at. There are normally discounts to be had at Worldtime too (my Geckota Rectangular ended up being free just because we had a nice chat!)
Great idea. I’m afraid I won’t be able to make it, though. We have teachers staying on a German exchange that weekend, so there’s no way I’ll get permission!

I'll see what I can do, busy schedule with going off to uni, but I'm sure I can make some time for a trip to London.

I don't think there are tickets you have to buy?? Nothing mentioned on the website.
You can wear whatever you like! I've seen everything from holy trinity watches to F91Ws. 👍

Just saw this! I'll be there and we will likely be taking a group of our members from The Watch Collectors' Club too. I enquired about taking a table but it's too expensive. Happy to meetup around it and help with any organising if it's on the Friday etc. Cheers!
