OP from 1967

Explorer 1 36mm new.

Paul Newman's Daytona.

·

I like simple and relatively affordable( for a Rolex) do

Datejust 41 which I own

Explorer 41

Airking ( latest version)

I don't do flash or blingy so these will keep me busy.

·

The three currently in my collection.

116610- standard black Sub Date

226570- Explorer II, white dial

126300- DJ41

The Sub Date may be gone if I get a call for the new YM 42 Ti and like it on the wrist.

·

All new:

ND Submariner

40mm Explorer

Probably a blue Datejust to complete the trio?

·

Sport/Tool: Submariner 40mm 114060

Office/Travel: GMT Master II Meteorite Pepsi White Gold 126719

Dress: 1908 39mm White dial, white gold 52509

·

Blue dial Milgauss

Rhodium dial Yacht-Master

Black dial Sky-Dweller maybe

·

I don’t know Rolex well at all, but mine would be:

  1. Red Submariner

  2. Explorer 39

  3. Blue dial DJ

·

Great question! I would say a Vintage Submariner ( @bennylee im looking at you:)), GMT Master Blue/Black, and white dial OP 36/39

·

Dear Santa:

*explorer2 black dial

*milgaus blue

*daytona

(cookies are on the table…) 🤙😂

·

1. Airking 14000M 3,6,9 Blue dial

2. Explorer 1 36mm

3. Explorer 2 polar

·

Rolex Yatch Master Rose gold Oysterflex 40mm, Rolex Submariner, Rolex Date Just 41 blue dial fluted bezel

·

I mean... it's that, a DJ, an Explorer II, and a Skydweller; different versions maybe (I prefer a black Explorer II and a smooth on oyster DJ) but that's it exactly!

·

Polar explorer 2 16570 with supeluminova from 02-05

GMT master ii 16750 mid 80’s.

Submariner 16610 no date.

·

I’m quite happy with my 3…..

  1. Titanium Yachtmaster

  2. Steel/platinum/white gold Daytona on Oysterflex

  3. Pepsi

·

I’d go modern polar explorer, titanium yacht master with a ceramic bezel and then I’m torn… practically speaking I should say 40mm Explorer but my impractical side says Yacht master 2 because I would LOVE a countdown timer watch for brewing tea in the morning.

My current favourites

·

124270 Explorer

Rose gold/olive daydate

6542 gmt master

My dream Rolex collection:

The Explorer is in my current collection. The gold oysterquartz with wood dial and the 36mm palm motif datejust are yet to come.

Rolex Explorer II black face, Submariner "Starbucks" and Oyster Perpetual 41mm blue face.

·

I think these would be the CLASSIC three-watch collection...

Original 1655 Explorer II

Submariner

36mm Explorer

I have owned the first two! Lust for the third...but prices have just gotten stupid- hence the selling of the other two. They have been replaced with Steinharts...and I'm perfectly happy with them!

·

Daytona, GMT rootbeer edition and a Hulk

·

Incredibly difficult to answer 💭especially because i‘m a big fan of a minimalistic approach like 3/6 watch collections

Spontaneously:

  • Batgirl

  • Day date yellow gold white dial

  • Arabic Dial Platona

I‘m not 100% happy with my choice haha kinda missing a sou/ vintage piece there.

Almost match your picks, to me, the Air-king and the Explorer are too close in appearance, so i would swap the Explorer for a black dial milgauss...

GMT Rootbeer

SUB Bluesy

Exp2 Polar
