Is a watch the best part of an EDC?
Well duh, you posted this on a watch-centric app, of course we’ll agree!
Very true, but I’m curious to see what other EDC setups others have in this community. I do think your choice watch is what gives it “personality” if that makes sense. I also try to match the color scheme if I can.

It might get you a flight home in a box as well...Bear in mind that the Rolex buying a flight stories come from an age when Rolex wasn't nearly as expensive conpared to people's income.

Hmm... I think if a stranger offered me his Rolex now I'd max out my offer at around £50.

I don't have a "set up" for my SIMP (shit in my pockets)
Usually just a wallet and keys since I never leave the house with the idea that I might end up in a tactical situation.
My EDC, including the occasionally used car key. This maybe sacrilege, but the essential is my smartphone (payments, clock, communication, time, news, books).
My EDC is pretty minimal; a Lost Dutchman Finn wallet, my keys, a watch, and a Benchmade Bugout.

The one in the post is from American Benchcraft. They have some different leather wallets that use rivets instead of threading. I also love Odin Leather in Texas who has an online store and IG.

I love my Finn, I've had it a few years now and it just keeps getting better looking. I find most leather products "wear-in" to a nice look with use.
I have been using the bellroy slim sleeve for around 5 years. Very compact, holds my cards and notes(bills I guess for USA). Don’t hold any coins. Bit on the pricey side. There are cheaper clones available (just like watches) 😂
It all depends on how your day goes.
Some days the most important thing in my pocket is ChapStick.
This was mine it’s changed a little bit now I’ve upgraded my multitool to a leatherman surge now and I’ve upgraded my wallet to a Loake shoemakers hand made leather wallet the watch changes between my rotary seamatic longines hydroconquset 39mm and my new Tudor Pelagos 42 I can’t really say what I’ve most used as I used all of it daily the fixed blade knife gets a lot of use

I just carry a set of these mate, theyre registered as leathel weapons. I missed a punch only once, skyes blue eversince.🤠
Leaving the house: Watch, wallet, keys, phone, handgun.
Bike ride: Watch, essential credentials, phone, handgun (in bike pouch), knife (mounted on bike), pepper spray (pocket), rubber gloves (in bike pouch).
