I’ve heard great things about Omega’s service. I looked up a complete service from Omega. Looks very detailed and intensive, basically an overhaul of the entire watch. Price for a precious metal piece is $800 USD. I’ve included the link for you to take a look for yourself. You may also want to go to your nearest Omega AD and see what their service includes.

I would keep the watch, but that’s just me. A gold watch today would cost multiples of its value. Plus the sentimental ties. Good luck with your decision!
