Scratch is gone! 🤩

I woke up the other day realizing that I had scratched badly my Timex Q (pictures might not do justice, but it was hard to read the date, and it just looked bad).

I was very bummed but excited because it was the perfect time for me to try Polywatch for the first time. I was not sure, as I have heard mixed reviews on it, but I gave it a try.

2-3 min rubbing with a cotton cloth and it looks amazing! Highly recommended!

Have you guys used Polywatch? Has it worked for you?

On a Moonswatch it was miraculous

·

Use it on my Lorier Falcon. Works fantastic! Now if it only worked on mineral glass 😕

They have a special mineral glass version. Worked great on the crystal for my seiko presage.

Polywatch makes acrylic worth wearing

Whaaaat??? I need to find some. I was under the impression that stainless steel polish and a dremel were the only chance.

Nope! It's a bit finicky as the polishing is quite concentrated via the "sticks" and various cloths they give you, and the amount of polish is miniscule! But it did take a 12mm scrape directly out of my hardlex. The scrape could be felt with a fingernail so it wasnt just a scuff.

Cool!

·

Like @casiodean I just use toothpaste or Brasso.

·

No but I'm gonna now. I have a small scratch on my Edifice EF-539D had for over 10 years now & the scratch... for a better use of the words, has been pissing me off for almost 10 of those years 🤣🤣🤣

·

Yeah. It makes things right on my Lorier. 👍

·

Thanks for the post. Haven’t used it yet, but a bottle came with my Lorier watch. That’s really impressive. Makes me feel a lot better about my acrylic domed crystal watch.

·

Haven't used it on any of my Lorier's yet, but have used it on various acrylic watches before, does what it's intended to do.

Also one more reason why acrylic doesn't phase me tbh.

·

I used it on an old pocket watch I got and it cleared it up nicely. Definitely an easy way to revitalize a piece.

·

I use Polywatch regularly on my Moonwatch. It clears the hesolite crystal of swirls and scratches like magic!

·

I used glass stovetop cleaner and worked great. Haven't tried polywatch but likely the same thing.

·

Alternatively you jumped a timeline into one where you didn't scratch your watch.

·

Concur with the many comments, it works great. Invaluable for my Vostok

I've managed to get really favorable results polishing cases using Mothers' Mag Polish. It's original use is removing scratches from magnesium wheel rims on cars. I don't have any rims that require polishing, but II had the case of my thirty year old Citizen with some pretty gnarly battle damage. So the case was there, polish was there, and me three. Serendipity! It took out all but the deep gouges inflicted when it was on my wrist wrangling Tomcats on the deck of the Nimitz.

PolyWatch to the rescue!!

·

Used some on one of mine and my grandpa's and it worked a treat!

·

Yes every collectors have this thing.
