I think affordable should be $1000 (if that) and below. Weiss costs waaaaay too much IMO to qualify as affordable

I don't know where your definition of affordable is but some of these brands don't have models below $1000. Affordable is different for everyone. For me affordable is anything about $600 or less

For me, affordable is $300 this year … another kid on the way means living skinny

Nice list, sure some are pricier than others and affordable is relevant., but let the other people do their list if they want. Quite a few brands I had forgotten about, so saving this post. For me affordable under £250 (and less I hope) push the boat out for the right watch £500.

tbh in its current form, I don't think the list is helpful, though I do appreciate you sharing your enthusiasm. the problem is that it's a massive list and not organized in any meaningful way.

it would be more useful as a resource/reference if you split it by price category (as you acknowledged that 'affordable' can mean different things). Or you can sort it by watch type (divers, sports watches, etc)

if you wanted this to be more of a discussion rather than a reference, including a name and/or photo of the model you're interested in from each brand might be helpful. Or organized as watch categories so one could look at the different sports watches at a given price point.

1k Dollar would be the upper limit of what people call "affordable.

Even here in switzerland, 1k CHF is a large summ of money to spend on a watch.

After seeing Erebus' second offering last week, I would consider adding them. Those turned out shockingly good. Argue all you want about longevity and will they be around down the road. Who cares. I have a nice watch that I like and I didn't need to sell a kidney for it.
