I'm surprised more people aren't considering this. It's a limited run of the FIRST spring drive technology! Only 500 in existence. So I can understand them not wanting to mess or Frankenstein it making it no longer authenticate. I'm sure that this will be less of a problem for new mass production spring drive watches.
I like the look of the longines, but it seems like they are ashamed of their GMT hand. It blends in far too much on this dial, and I don't think it's just the way the picture is. For that the BBpro gets the win.
Going off of memory here, but I believe he has GS, Omega, Breitling, Glashutte and then a spot for online watches and can request any watch on the website
I'm relatively new to the watch collecting, not sure where it will take me, but I have the idea in my head that I will stop at 8 watches. Half automatic and half quartz. Swapping between two watches a day seems doable to maintain the automatics without having the power reserve depleted in any of them.
I currently only have three watches and rotate between the two on work days and weekends while the third (quartz) sits behind for vacation as I use it as a GMT.
