Rolex Oyster Perpetual from 1968 with papers, the watch has been serviced; everything is working perfectly.
The Air King is from 1997.

I'm thinking of changing the straps! What do you think of leather or suede on the Oyster?
I would say the more elegant price is the 1968 OP. Looks more refined which equals a higher previewed value. Both are excellent watches!

Yes, what I mean by that is: instinctively, which one seems to have the highest market value. I emphasize the instinctive aspect because it's the perceived value that interests me; I've already analyzed the real value haha ! 😀

So imho I like the Air King more for style. But the OP with a fluted bezel is always 🔥. Just don’t love that two tune look. Maybe with a nice strap on it instead of the bracelet.

Yes I’m not a fan of gold / steal too, I think a leather strap will make it so much more classy !
The Air King with the Explorer dial is the better looking watch IMO. The two tone isn't my cup of tea and I don't think they are as popular nowadays. But gold always adds value to a watch so it will be worth more.

I had one and only wore it with a leather strap. 👍 Vintage Rolex bracelets aren't very good IMO.

Both very cool but that air king gets my attention
I like the blue Air King 👌🏻🤣 the two tone DJ will surely be perceived at most valuable, gold has that effect 🤷🏼♂️

IMO. The Air King attracts the most because of the deep blue dial and the fact that its low key. The other has more perceived value due the fluted bezel and two tone.
