My collection is all islanders and gshock/casio. Have had the need or want for anything else. I do appreciate looking at other watches but these are my go to brands

Yes I get the impression his customer service would be great. Saw in a vid the other day that he goes through watches when they come in to do a QC.

I don't own any Islanders for my little wrist, but I've always appreciated the way they've worked at releasing beautiful colorways. Their teal and white diver is among the best executed color designs in the micro world, imo.

#islander is a amazing brand that makes quality watches! The purple Northport is the next one to add to my collection. I own an ISL54 and a Southold. Both are my absolute favorite watches I have.

Marc is a great guy and his watches are perfectly fine. Great, even. It's worth noting that they're starting to creep up in price as he adds more interesting and advanced stuff, like the dials you've highlighted in your images, so depending on what you look at from his catalogue, a decision has to be made about whether it's worth it/whether you're starting to tiptoe into the domain of name-brand watches you might also want to look at. But the bottom line is, if he does a watch that looks appealing to you and you don't baulk at the price, buy it. Quality is good and aftermarket care, if you do have an issue, is great.
Great customer service is an understatement. My idiot self popped the bezel off this thinking I could swap it. When I emailed Marc he sent me a whole brand new case. I learned my mistake and actually grown to like the world timer bezel now.

I kinda like his latest GMT release (specifically the -214 with the blue dial) except for the case shape which I'm not a fan of.
In a comment on one of his Youtube videos I asked if he was planning for a GMT NorthPort, and he said yes. So, not an official announcement, but this could be his hottest release ever! So I'm keeping an eye open for it.
