Tried On Quite A Few Watches Today...

Both look great but I agree, Majetek. Especially if you already have a dive watch.

I have the Ultra Chron...it's a fabulous watch.

I miss my UltraChron but I think I’ll go with Majetec next if I go back and get another longines

I tried on the same two watches (+ a few more …) last time I was in at Longines but had a different reaction - I didn't connect with the Majetek. I love the aesthetics though.

The Ultra Chron on the other hand, I fell for it immediately, particularly on the bracelet. It's insanely good IRL and wears really well for a 43mm diver. That sapphire bezel and those indicies are insane. And it looks like something out of Tron under lume! The movement is really impressive too. It's the most under appreciated dive watch on the market I reckon.

Can 100% see why you fell for the ultra, I’ve always liked it and would even consider both, for sure if getting the ultra I’d get the bracelet and leather. I think the Majetek felt so good was due to the quirky case shape, angled lugs and it’s somehow not as cool looking as the ultra, which sometime appeals.Trust me it’s a close call, love your description.

Yeah - the Maj is a cool watch - I like that knurled bezel as well - either way, whatever you choose, kick arse watches!

@LanceLim will definitely agree with the Ultra-Chron. I tried his watch on my wrist, and it sat really nicely on my 6.25-inch wrist. But, twas still slightly too big me.

The Longines for me!

They are both fabulous watches and I hope the decision becomes easy for you G.P. Personally I can't get past the crown guards with the Majetek. I know they serve a purpose of course but for me they spoil the lovely case shape.

We're all different with our choice and tastes. One things for sure, you can't go wrong with a Longines can you. 👍

I didn't really notice the crown guards Ian 🤣 Think my eyes were drawn too much to the way the lugs go down, their shape and playing with the bezel. I am easily distracted, like a child 😬
