This watch pretty much encapsulates everything wrong with modern society. Whatever happened to common courtesy? Manners? These days everyone is so self-centered and entitled that it has become acceptable to wear items expressing your own disdain of everyone else around you.

I’m not bothered by the obscenity, and don’t think this watch portends dark times. I’m bothered by the fact that it is neither funny nor clever. It’s like the window stickers of Calvin peeing on the logo of whatever truck brand the owner hates.

Childish. I always try to stay positive & encouraging on this forum. When I see something I think is ridiculous I try to just keep my mouth shut. But whoever thought this was a good or "funny" idea really needs to grow up and be a damn man, because they are seriously failing at being an adult. 🙄

F*CK you Nico Leonard. First of all, I don't need him to tell me I'm poor. And I certainly don't need him telling me what watch I should buy because I'm poor. He can take his little painted PRX, take his one off Ferrari with a custom exhaust and drive on out of our lives.

I will defend Nico. Not because of this watch release (overpriced way to much). But because like him or not, Nico did brought watch conversation to the mainstream. Yes his loud. Yes his being silly. But thanks to his personality many people actually learn about our common passion.

Although I'd love to see him go at it with Banford on the customization debate. Not everyone is going for rapper with cheap diamonds when they individualize a watch. Even Rolex made one offs and individual edition.

Never heard of him so I did a quick YouTube search. My conclusion after looking at the titles of his videos: If you have to describe yourself as an “expert”, you probably aren’t. This seems like a desperate gasp for relevance.

As for my browsing, I’ll be tossing this crass wannabe back into obscurity.

Nico was fun at the beginning...I just stopped watching him since a long time...now he is a youtuber. Funny, you mentionned theo and Harris: I posted a very agressive comment on their last "I only wear gold" video... those guys are just so fake and cheesy...I can't stand them.

Now, the fun part: I just sent my PRX over to Australia at Koda watches and will have it customised by them. I am very excited about this project, and if it turns out ok, I will have my dream PRX... will post some pics when the time comes

I quite like watching Nico every now and again. It’s a bit of fun in what can be a subject people take way to seriously and are often pompous about, talking about them as if they’re the most important objects in the world when they’re all obsolete and superfluous. Nico is a bit of comic relief amongst all that. I don’t agree with a lot of his opinions but find him amusing, albeit in smaller doses.

As for the watch, not sure I see it as hypocritical. His comments on customisation don’t seem to be targeted at those who by one of those minority of watches which may hold its value or even appreciate, then bejazzle it in diamonds and claim it is worth the current market value of said watch plus the cost of the added stones, which is obviously not the case. A quartz prx is going to be worth little after a few years so customising it isn’t going to diminish value any more.

I wouldn’t personally buy it but I don’t really like the PRX. I like Tissot but I don’t like integrated metal sports watches of any type really and the PRX was overhyped, again partly due to watch people across social media getting interactions, liking it was good for the algorithms. This makes it slightly less meh but I’d still not want one, that sort of brash design thing isn’t my cup of tea.

Agreed . I admire him for his knowledge and drive but he seems to be embracing the hype lifestyle route instead of sticking to watches. If he's not careful.....

Nico is a salesman, a business person. He was offered a deal and he took it. I like his videos, and the videos of several YTubers but several of them are sellers, we should not forget that and have unrealistic expectations about them. Do I like that watch? No, it's crass and edgy, besides everytime you check the time you are flipping yourself! (probably that's the meta joke, you paid 1000 USD to flip yourself). 😁

I have just one question - why would someone want a "middle finger" on his watch? The watch main purpose is to show a time to person who is wearing it, so, this watch will remaind it's owner also to fu** himself (genius).
