The SOTC that absolutely nobody asked for!

So here it is…it’s in a reasonably good place with nine automatics and three quartz watches.

In the lower right is the G-Shock collection:

A handsome bunch!

·

Sweet collection! How long did it take to put this collection together?

·

Impressive. Great collection. So what’s next?

·

Great collection. Love the grouping they’re like 4 self enclosed 3 watch collections.

Well, I got the Presage six years ago, but the remaining eleven took 2 years.

I’m only buying one watch per year now. Planning on the Cartier Santos Medium next year. Also considering a Tudor Pelagos in blue (original, FXD, or 39mm if it exists).

You amassed a nice collection. Which one do you wear the most?

·

Love it! Fun collection!

I rotate regularly, with the G-Shocks getting the least amount of wear. Probably the Ball gets the most wear as it is a “Professional” watch for me. As a chemist, everything about it was made for me. Ball was founded on safety, its 904L steel with a screw down crown, which makes it corrosion resistant (the chemicals I work with will the destroy the G-Shocks). The Tritium has a cool Chemistry vibe, and it’s magnetic resistant which is important for the instruments I use.

Wow very cool. I wish I had that kind of control. 1 or 2 watches a year. No problem. But I have no idea what the watches will be.

That’s a great collection. Love the variety you got there!

·

Sharp collection. Love the strap on the Zulu Time.

Not too familiar with Ball, but I am familiar with the model you have. Been trying to see it in person. From what I’ve seen in videos, it looks sweet!

·

Wow! I see a few lovelies! Fantastic collection!

·

Great Seikos! And these 3 Casios are also legendary.

·

Nice

·

Love it! Looks like something I would have 😁

·

What a great collection! A nice, considered range. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

That Ball is nice. Those watches have a real heft and presence to them. I am shocked your PRX looks so nice. Mine has lost its shine. It does not look destroyed (like my Seiko SARY056), but it almost like the west was a death by a thousand microscratches. It just looks dull, not worn.

But I love the collection.I need to have more discipline and buy fewer, better pieces. Are you wearing the Longines? I feel like it has the same place as the Ball—being your “Good watch.”

I wear them all. Just took the Longines as my only piece on an 8 day holiday with the family.

Nice collection... vintage Seiko next maybe?

My profile will tell you how shameless a suggestion that is 🤣

I’ve not had the vintage bug…yet.

·

Cool collection you got there

How well would this fit? 🤔 🤣

I know; I'm shameless. Ask @Guvnor64

Very nice!

·

Cool. I like your speedy. The Aquis pops. I have the same square gshock, love it.

·

Wow, that's a very nice collection! 😍

·

Great collection. I also really like the 4 set approach you took and can tell some real thought went into the selections.

Thanks! I did buy each watch with its individual attributes in mind as well as its specific fit to the other watches in the collection.

"I've not had the vintage bug . . . yet." I call feel this Seiko 5 bug biting me through the screen.

·

I love the 70s Seikos. There's some properly pretty/quirky stuff there. Finished work on all these recently...
