Haha I've known this for years, but glad more people are coming around to Citizen! Seiko is great but across the board I've always thought Citizen was better built
Not a jerk, but maybe a bit too picky. Taste ebbs and flows and I've received gifts that I didn't immediately love, but grew on me over time. My advice is to wear it for a week or two straight and you might start appreciating the strengths and overlooking some of the shortcomings.
Yes I leave my Omega at home during certain trips or meetings. Not out of fear of theft or damage, but rather the message it sends. I work in welding automation and focus my efforts primarily in shipyards. This puts most of my conversations with shop foremans, welding engineer, etc and a nice Omega on my wrist could set me apart (not in a good way). Strap on the GShock and forget about it lol
