Let’s be honest, the only one I will be able to reasonably get is the Zenith. Finding one in good shape on the other hand. The VC is absolutely gorgeous.

Ok, so kinda unattainable (100k) but, the DEFY Zero G (patented gyroscope to cancel the effects of gravity at any time) from Zenith truly fascinates me, especially after visiting the manufacture and getting hands one with the piece.

It was! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Switzerland 😊The Cartier you’ve shared is stunning 💯

·

I could never afford it, but I love the Rotonde de Cartier Skeleton Mysterious Double Tourbillon

Zenith and Piaget are doing nice work in this realm. Oris also has some excellent, more affordable options, and with 10 day PR!

I think you'll find it hard to ignore this...

you'll try, but once seen it can't be unseen.

You're welcome 😊

·

If I could afford one this is it. Ill just have to just have a pic of it.

But here's more of my grail reallity.

Bulova Accutron

As you know we can go all over the price range to Aliexpress lol. I'll take the Bulova based on horology of that movement.

Enjoy the watch

Cheers

I'm not a huge fan. Skeletons are kinda hard to read and really busy. But that new Czapek release is really good. And I'm liking this ChronoSwiss Opus.

·

Mostly I don’t like skeleton watches since it hard to see the time.. but then I bought this microbrand ERA and I love it.. The watch has a tourbillion, day-night indicator and a GMT function

All those listed are amazing timepieces but my favorite skeleton is this one, mainly because the Reverso is my grail watch.

Yes my biggest must have for a skeleton watch is a full face option. 👍

·

These tend to generate some shall we say passionate discussions. 😃

For me the biggest problem with skeleton design is they tend to be unlegible which kills the whole watch purpose. There are some that execute this great lime VC mentioned above

·

Does the Bel Canto count as skeleton?? 🤔

Image
·

It's the Schaumburg Unikatorim Paläonhorologie for me. Has gone straight to the top of my list.

Image
·

Well, from an old guy..I am not a fan. If I have to look at a watch more than once to see what time it is......to hard to read. JMO

·

If I could afford a skeleton watch I get the royal oak, the Cartier with Roman numerals, and bulova accutron it looks borgish, the borg from Star Trek next generation, and the royal oak cause well its an ap

Kudoke Octopus.

Saw it in the flesh at a watch fair and was smitten by it. A lot of watch for the money.

One of the most beautiful modern skeleton watches for me is the Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton in black. I’m seriously thinking of getting it. It’s a great movement. Still legible. A bit of a 1970s vibe to it. And quite a presence without being flashy. I’m a big fan of Zenith. ⭐️

Pasha. Cartier knows how to do Skeletons well. Pasha is the most unique and has an art deco flare

Image
·

There aren't any, I hate skeleton watches. Next question

·

I like the ProPilot X Caliber 115

Image
·

My Rado Cap Cook was an interesting Skeleton: you could see the entire movement if you looked for it, but it’s sapphire dial was smoked so it had as excellent legibility. A rarity among the skeletons

Image
Image

Abandoning legibility- that Cartier from W&W, the Kodo, Corum Bridge, UN Freak , or one of the full Sapphire numbers like Arty Purity Tourbillon

Image

Or the Bell & Ross Laughing Skull or Sapphire Tourbillon

The 378B from Forsining, or the Blingograph as I call it - I have one on order.

·

I purchased the Zenith but i could not read the darn thing..LOL so my granddaughter took possession of it..LOL
