Brew on a strap?

Decided to put my max gold Brew Metric on a sage green strap with gold hardware. Very tight fit between the spring bars/case, but it just barely works. Honestly, I’m digging the look more than I expected. If I really squint, it gives me Zenith A385 vibes. Maybe? Haha.

Anyone else put their Metric on a strap? Send pics!

Looks great! Good color combo!

·

That color enhances the watch. Well done

·

Looks cool and very interesting. Thought I was limited to the bracelet or brand leather strap given the width. Off to experiment

·

Was looking at this yesterday, it is a beautiful watch!

·

Never seen someone pull off a strap swap on one of these, it looks great

Feel free to share the results. Curious what other straps and dials will look like together

This looks so clean, it'd be like the perfect watch with a military dress uniform.

·

Excellent! That looks amazing 👍

·

That is an extremely “rockin’” combo. Beautiful watch. I’ll go bare here. I’ve never seen one nor heard of the brand. Sooo. Help my I’ve seen it all….NOT…and send me where I can learn about it. Again, it’s phenomenal. Cheers.

I have mine on a leather strap from Brew.

Nice combo!

·

Really diggin this look.

My Retrograph came on a strap. Haven’t changed my Metric Black PVD but it might look good on a black rally strap, given it’s automotive vibes… 🤔👍🏻

·

Oooh yes! Looks fantastic! 😍

·

It looks steampunk-ish in a way. Really cool… Love the creativity.

·

what size spring bars did you try? 19 or 20mm?

I have the black and gold carbon Metric, and wouldn't mind giving that a try!

Curious, how do you rate the leather strap? Is it supple or need a lot of breaking in. Thick or thin. Really tempted to get one one as a second option for my Metric but cost and shipping to the UK keep putting me off given I’ve no idea on quality.

·

Worth the effort. Looks incredible!!

·

green and gold is usually a wi👍nner

·

That's different haven't seen it done before with the Brew and I think I like it yes that goes well 👍

·

It's a cool looking watching and it just hit better 👍👍👍👍

·

Love it! 😊

I have a Gold Max and every time I see it on anything else than the original bracelet it looks odd, I think the bracelet is organic part of the design, and if you take it out, it just doesn't work. But it's my humble opinion, I am not a design n4z1, if you like it, rock it, that's all that matters! 😎💪

Honestly, great combo, I think it works

Brew's leather strap is pretty good. It's fairly supple with reasonable thickness; I didn't have to break it in. Given the costs to ship it to the UK, I would suggest looking for an alternative first. But if it's worth the cost to you, I don't think you'd be disappointed.

New(er) microbrand with high quality at a reasonable price. Their watches are designed to integrate an “espresso timer” chrono function via Seiko Mecha-quartz movement. Love the funky flair of their pieces.

I definitely prefer the look and feel on the bracelet, it’s such a holistic/complete-feeling design (and especially retro-70s-funky in gold).

Standard 20! Worked, just barely 😅

Thank you, much appreciated. Defo food for thought.
