Well I don't buy fakes, those are extremely immoral because they position themselves as the real thing. I enjoy knockoffs because it's a way to enjoy the amazing designs of Patek that I can actually afford.
It's just accessibility, that's all.
I have a collection of knockoff Patek Phillippes. If I bought them all as originals it would cost so much I could buy a small South American country. So no, I don't feel embarrassed around normal people who know nothing about watches.
If I'm around watch people I'll wear my Casios or Timexes though.
