Pre-owned Rangers

Both are great watches. Make a list of what's important for you. Like for example;

Versatility

Wearability

Is it a strap monster

Heritage

Give each watch points in the categories and summarize.

I absolutely love the conquest series and Longines as a brand so that would be my choice.

Thanks for sharing! I've got some minor scratches on a clasp. Seen a few videos on how to polish an use a scotch brite pad, but never built th courage to do it myself. This seems easy enough.

A former colleague of mine had a giant Diesel skeleton-ish watch. I apparently looked at it sceptically because he asked , "is there something wrong?". I was thinking, yea mate it's way too big for your wrist and ugly as f... but said nothing. Because it's non of my business what anyone wears.

My go-to watch:

I'm not a fan of skeleton watches so it's a no from me. With that said though, it's a fantastic piece of artwork. Titanium and CNC machined parts makes this one stand out. Not sure of the price. Sure, expensive materials and detailed work ... but well. Not sure. Might be a collector's piece but might very well be a quirky dust collector.

Personally I would keep the Ranger. Imo one of the best looking tool/field watches out there. Fantastic finishing. Perfect size. A strap monster.

I've shortlisted the Ranger and the Longines Spirit 40 mm for my next purchase. I honestly can't decide. But there's an ever so slight leaning to Ranger.
