Watching it now. And it's a big ๐from me. Not a fan of skeleton watches and at the price. F**king hell no ๐
Nope. But I reckon they'll sell every single one they make.
Like the dial (lack of) & movement, dislike the rest of it.
Good luck to them ๐๐ป๐๐ป
I think it looks awesome for a skeletonized dial. The movement is impressive. I wouldnโt spend that much at this point on a CW, even though I am a fan of CW. As he said in the video, this is a watch that shows what CW is capable of.
If it were half the price it might be more successful
I loved that he used the two comps I used in my post the other day. Zenith and Oris
Moving on lol! Better choices out there.
Not my style whatsoever.
I agree with @SUSFU303, though. CW have their diehard fans and theyโll probably sell them all.
Skeletons look cheap to me. Not sure why.
The most balanced youtube review of the CW 12X. A hard no for me just for the price.
Not my thing at all. Most CWs strike me as boring. At least this one isn't boring.
I'm not a fan of skeleton watches so it's a no from me. With that said though, it's a fantastic piece of artwork. Titanium and CNC machined parts makes this one stand out. Not sure of the price. Sure, expensive materials and detailed work ... but well. Not sure. Might be a collector's piece but might very well be a quirky dust collector.
I think as hobbyists we do have to sometimes respect what watch companies are doing to create something original, the style maybe not for us, maybe we donโt connect with it, pricing is relative etc etc - could likely pick up a used Zentih Defy Skeleton similarly priced etc - but I do respect the fact it exists, just like the bel canto (again not for me at all) and the effort and craftsmanship that goes into it.
They can only make 100 per year because there is a fair amount of hand polishing on the movement, it's not for me but they will see them all. I prefer the old concept design.
I like the idea of skeleton watches but I'd rather have a beautiful dial. As skeleton watches go this one is really nice.
