I think the easiest tell (aside from opening the back, which I assume you are not in a position to do) would be checking out the bracelet / clasp. I have not seen any fake Rangers, but I suppose they wouldn't be hard to fake if someone wanted to.
There are fakes for a £30 Casio so I’ve no doubt there are fakes for the entire Tudor range, also box and papers are no confirmation of authenticity either. Buyer beware

If it’s that new should come with box and papers. If someone wanted to fake a Tudor, I would think we’d be hearing about some good fakes of the more popular models first
Bracelet action, I think the Ranger comes with Tfit also wind the watch, shouldn’t feel scratchy like most low grade ETAs, should feel buttery smooth

It's on the strap, comes with box, card and papers (although you can't see anything in detail in the ad).
