Watches & Your Pets
Okay watch nerds . . . while we should maintain zero interest in each other's lives besides watches for the sake of harmony 😂, there is one thing that I thing is safe for us to share that might add some joy to the forums and humanize us a bit more beyond a hunk of metal. With that said? I want to see some watch & pet photos. Wrist shots in front of you dog or cat or parakeet or whatever you have. Maybe your dog's paw is sporting a Tudor. Maybe you have a good boy or good girl sitting nicely behind a watch box.
Watches might bring us a bit of joy. But pets can fill a life.
Anyway, this is my 2 yr old Cattle Dog/Pit Bull mix named Fenris.

I was wanting to post about my pet baby rat because I named her seiko! (Which I'm amazed my roommates let me get away with)
I know there are no watches in these pictures but I figured that since her name was seiko I could get away with it ;) also I bought a seiko cocktail time on the same trip on which we took her to the vet. I know rats are a controversial pet but I think she's very cute!

We have ten cats, seven are indoor-only, plus three outside-only ferals that we trapped & got fixed & gave them their whole array of shots, in order to give them the best chance for survival. I also cut a hole in our heated/cooled garage so they could have some comfort in bad weather. They are socialized to us only and we can call them & scoop 'em up and give them skritches. Of course they have a regular feeding schedule too, they want for nothing.

They are wonderful, gentle cats. Mama had a litter of three prior to our trapping them, and those three kittens became three of our seven indoor-only cats.
With the exception of one, who was intentionally adopted, all of our indoor-only cats have we have found purely by chance. Or in some cases, they found us.
Lucky, who we found in 2013 on a 95-degree day in a hot asphalt parking lot, stuck inside a car's suspension, now comfortably lounging on my Orkina. He's super smart. Taught him to fetch and lay down. I can call him from anywhere and he comes running:

They are extremely affectionate pets , my niece had an albino rat and I named him Morlock after the underground dwelling beings in the “ Time Machine by HG Wells . Needless to say the other brown rat 🐀 we named Eloy .
