These new Cocktail Time look insane!
I've just read about these new Seiko Cocktail Time and I absolutely love them.
As a little bit of a cocktail aficionado I think the Hawthorne Strainer motif is a no brainer and it looks awesome! also that white dial is killer!!
Some may have hesitations about a "decorated" 4R movement at around $600, but I think this is a watch you buy because it's fun and beautiful. It's intended for nights out, when you don't need good accuracy (we always have our phones with us anyhow, right?).
What do you guys think?

The list of watches that I will never buy is much longer than the list of watches that I will buy. The long list just got longer.
I don't hate it, but I think it's a shame to cut up such a beautiful dial. I'd rather see them start with a simpler dial if they're going to cut holes in it.
Very nice, unfortunately I love Seiko Presage (the latest models, this line specifically) for their dials. It's why I put up with the 5 bar water resistance and hardlex crystals when we use to get 10 bar WR and sapphire crystals at the same price.
So yeah...not really feeling the love right now.

Not sure what cocktails these are meant to represent but I am sure I have had some bad mornings after a few of them
Wonder if this is to properly seperate them from GS? I always thought of these Presage as a budget GS, maybe thats just me!

I think their basis are covered when it comes to cocktail time with uncut beautiful dials!
I'm not sure if they've used this dial before, but I'm sure that if they haven't, they'll do it in the future.

I like either fully skeletonized or fully dressed.

My 4R (-7 sec day) keeps better time than me 6R (-20 sec day) - meh

Interesting look, definately, but maybe a little bit "out there" for a dressier piece.🤔If I would buy a cocktail time (don't own one although I have been temted to buy one from time to time) I would go with some of the more traditional ones.

Thanks Rod. I think that for my skinny little wrists, an all dial dress watch in 38 would still be large but I guess you never know with Seiko. Thanks for the suggestion!
