My Favorite Seiko The Glacier MMR SBDC167 / SPB299

I've had this one for almost 2 years, and it's still my favorite Seiko. The Glacier dial is amazing, and the MMR case is the best one Seiko has.

I like both, but I'd go nodus. More expensive, but they have amazing designs and quality. Plus American assembly and better regulation before shipping.

With the big brands, no. But with some microbrands, yes. As there is more of a personal connection with them and the few people running it.

A while ago Shinola had a short lived deal with Disney. You can still find some of these around. A little more subtle and adult. Not the best movement (quartz Ronda I think) but better made with sapphire then your average citizen eco-drive.

I think this is my favorite citizen Mickey. A little bit more subtle with the propeller acting as a small seconds.

That's cool. Automatic or quartz?

First of let me say I generally really like Zelos, and I haven't seen that particular one. But from the ones I have seen, I think you will be disappointed if you are used to luxury levels of fit and finish.

For instance I have seen a couple of their watches reaching more towards the $1k price point. The original spearfish, spearfish GMT, and the more recent Eagle II. With those they are great for offering an original design, and a great movement at the price they were selling at. Yet the fit and finish was average for that price.

Steampunk A1100

I saw someone on Facebook do this, so had to try it. Combine the Casio A1100 with a Vario Bund. Completely unnecessary, totally awesome.
