Something a big different. Decided to take a more practical look at buying a watch. Looking at the reasons why we buy. Some of which are good, some bad.

I'm joking. I often get called a snob for buying watches and having opinions on them so I've decided to embrace it.
As far as I am concerned there are very few reasons, but plenty of excuses to buy a watch.
After the first few, it's always been "love the design" (including ergonomy and features). With a further limitation "it will fit well with the others" and therefore "I am going to actually wear it".
I did make the inevitable mistake of buying the perfect watch, only to find it was not perfect for me. But I did love it for a long time, I guess I just needed to try living with it to find my taste.
