Ordered a Veblenist “Smoke” leather strap recently. $105 with free CONUS shipping. Had ordered it originally thinking it had quick release spring bars...
I don’t wear it too loose. I hate when my watch is moving around and the watch slides up and down.
At the moment If the watch has zero on the fly it’s usually on a strap, I prefer leather. My wrist swells a lot throughout the day on a bracelet but not so much on a strap.
That’s also what’s been putting me off from trying intergrated bracelets or butterfly claps.
Becareful what you say to Nomos, they might take out their 46mm case from their safety deposit box in the back and stick you through the heart with its extra sharp 33cm lugs.

Bought a time grapher on AliExpress. You can get a Weishi1000 around $100 with free shipping. You can even splurge for a Weishi1900 for maybe $30 more for the better screen.
I don’t think it’s that hard to get in the gate for newbies, just make sure to set the correct lift angle for your given movement.
But also everyone’s wrist is slightly different even with same width. You can have a flatter top of the wrist and someone else might have a rounder top of the wrist.
Nomos design most of their lugs super straight and long.
I think you should try it if you can find an AD near you.
