I have a thing about watches, I need them to give me the time. I don't want to wear one that makes me work for it, so skeletonized watches or those with novel ways of presenting the time don't appeal to me much. I just think the primary purpose of a watch is to present the time, and these watches put time-telling way down the list of things they do. A lesser issue, is a black case, gold crown and pushers, colored hands, and a white rubber strap? Let's pick a theme here and stick with it.
This one in particular? I just don't get the desire to take what is basically a perfect timepiece and do this to it. Along with the Speedmaster, the Daytona is almost the definition of a "chronograph". It's perfect and doesn't need any tinkering.
But that's just me, lots of people like this sort of thing. I imagine they won't have much trouble selling that for however many 100s of thousands of dollars they want for it.

You have to give Blaken a Daytona to Mod. It for you. That costs you abaout 40.000 € 💸.
Hahahaaha...you have to provide the Daytona? At that point, it's not even the money, it's how annoying it is to lay hands on a Daytona. That's a whole other level on "no" for me.
Well now...that is an interesting albeit illegible watch! Admittedly, I DO like it: funky colors, nice bezel...but I do not think the overall color scheme is that well chosen - especially the gold clashes with the rest imho. And the three extra dials are unreadable :-) But kudos for leaving the beaten track!

I’m on a waitlist for a Daytona. Been for a while and will probably be for quite some time. When, or if, I will be chosen for one I will not send it to Blaken to get it modded. I get if there are people with financial resources that want something unique but I’m with @thekris here. Why ruin something ”perfect” as is.

First thought, can’t read it. Second thought, not for me.
I like it, seemingly hard to read the time at a glance but I really want to look at that watch because there's so much going on. Not a fan of the white band, but thats an easy fix right?
When one spends 40k on top of supplying a Daytona only to realize it is now worthless. One can do what they want to their watch and if they have the money, awesome, they have a one of a kind piece. I’m sure they don’t care about value, but even with money, it isn’t for me, but I’m sure whoever did this enjoys it.
I think it’s awesome. Fairly legible and after a day on the wrist I bet your optic nerve would adjust. If I had the money and I really wanted a Daytona I’d get it, but seeing as I’m neither of those…
I actually like the skeletonised dial. I have so many different ways in which to tell the time, I don't need my watch to do so simply. In this example, i'd wear it as a statement or a conversation starter.
No, my issue here is the colours: the differing colours on the subdials, then the gold crown and pushers, black bezel, white strap, there's just too much going on. Simplify the colour palette to offset the skeleton dial and i'm all for it.

🎯 I feel the same
I love it but what is the movement? Also what is the cost?

As far from hot as is possible.
Tough to look at.
Good luck getting that thing serviced by Rolex...
I'd spend hours staring at it mesmerized by the intricate movement.

🙏
Nicely done but not my style.

Sorry, not for me. Can't see myself looking back on this in 20-30 years and being happy.
Sacrilege…… haha no its very handsome but so is that balance in my bank account . 911 Porsche money .
This is the first time I'm seeing a "modded" Rolex and umm...yeah nah. I'd pass on this. This feels some kind of disrespectful tbh.

I like it, but like with my Accutrons. The Spaceview is more fun to look at, but the RR is a lot easier to read at a glance.

...and people are trying to tell me that the new Christopher Ward The Twelve gives them a headache!
Sorry not for me..I have a herd enough time reading my Daytona this one would be just nuts.. But hey, to each his own. Enjoy JMO
Not hot
Not
At least for me. To each tier own but this is taking a Rolex and making it all the things I hate about Richard Mille.
No thank you sir, I’ll invest the 40,000 in a PP👍🏻
🤣 i dont like it also.
