Would you trade?

Would you trade these three watches for a Moser pioneer second seconds? I have the opportunity and considering.

If it were me, I wouldn’t. I think what you got is more interesting than the Moser Pioneer.

·

If those 3 watches were mine, nope, I think those watches are more versatile than a single dress watch.

·

Absolutely not. The Pioneer has got nothing on the GS or the AT IMO. This 3-watch collection you have is far more interesting and versatile. 👍

·

Personally don’t see the benefit.

·

I would especially if you have other quality watches for some variety. I may be biased as GS is not among my favorites but the Pioneer is rarely seen and far more unique. Have photos of the Moser?

·

Nope.

Love Moser, but that's not a good swap.

·

Absolutely yes. Those three are good but there are loads of them out there. The Moser is special.

·

Me? Probably. The Moser is an total grail and I'd rather have it. You cab also repurchase those but another Moser might not come along

·

If these watches are stagnant in your watch box then I say go for it. Mosers come few and far in between in watch communities and it would be cool to be the only one in the room that has something.

·

No

·

I would not but then I am not you. How often would you wear the Moser vs how often do you wear these three? And how much enjoyment would you get from the Moser vs how much you might miss these three watches?

·

No way would I ever get rid of that AT

·

Depends if you wear them I’d say. If not then it’s just a financial question (what they are worth individually v the moser).

·

No way.

And if you were to go through you'll regret it almost immediatley.

·

If you love the moser. Do it. It will be easier to replace you the watches you traded and probably for less value.

Now the issues don't know is, do you have other watches to wear. Moser might be a hard to wear daily. Second what color is the Moser. That will make big difference. A red dial is not a versatile as a blue dial. Good luck.

·

I'll differ from other comments just because. But make up your own mind. Don't listen to us. Personally I would, but that's just because I like the Moser that much. Also it's a good option for moving up market. I can much easier save for that Omega, GS, or Oris. It's not that they're rare. I can easily buy them again later if I miss them. But saving and spending well over 12K on a single watch requires some serious commitment and time. At least for me. Ultimately if the Moser disappoints, there's chrono24 or this comunity to help flip it. Now if you have grown attached to your watches because of experiences while wearing them. Then don't. Just save up, if you can wait it will be worth it when you get it. That's my two cents.

·

Nope.

·

I would not trade.

You have the iconic Snowflake, the iconic Aqua Terra, and an nice Oris diver.

·

For me yes. Getting rid of that "meh" Oris would be a nice step. The Omega might be missed, for sure...

Morgy29407

Nomos metro date power reserve, zenith el Primero chronomaster, oris pro pilot, Hamilton field khaki, studio underdog chrono, tissot prx, full metal casioak, a few vintage oris and a Christopher ward bel canto.

Great picks

It seems you got your bases covered

You can definitely go

For the Moser 🙌🏻

·

The Moser is beautiful, but not as beautiful as a Snowflake and Aquaterra combined.

·

SBGA211 looks amazing on your wrist. I would not

·

Keep the GS and sell the rest to fund the Moser.

·

It's such a great three watch collection not sure I'd be able to swap them.... No no I'm sure I won't be able to.

·

I would do the trade if it was the right dial colour, a recent year & it had the full set.

The 3 watches that you have are very, very nice watches but it could take time to get the optimum price you wish for them. I'm guessing you'd get somewhere between 10-12k GBP for your watches. A Pioneer Centre Seconds would be pretty similar in price to this range. If you can get a deal done without the hassle of selling three watches & you really, really want the Moser & Cie, I can't see why you wouldn't?

·

Yes

·

Depending on what else you have in your collection, if it were me, yes, in a heartbeat.

·

Nope! I believe I enjoy rotation so much, I’m not a one-watch guy; however I really love the Moser!!!!

·

The Aquaterra and Snowflake are pretty similar in style but GS beats it by a mile with Spring Drive and the dial finish. I would let the Omega and Oris go and try to make up the difference in cash for the Moser.

·

I can’t say nothing because I never own none of those.
