Congratulations, a lovely choice

A struggle! First I will switch to thin leather or silicone straps, something breathable. If I can’t stand the watch anymore, I would remove it all together and lay it flat on my desk… which I can’t do with a deployment clap that I like so much…

If water resistance is not an issue e.g 3-5AT is enough, I would avoid screw-down crowns all together. I would be concerned by wear & tear and service costs

Does a service really cost 50£ where you live? Here in Austria, 300€ seems to be the lowest price.

Congratulations to Baltic and the organizers!

How could you bring some watch-related criteria in the brand selection and the voting process? Don’t get me wrong, it is a lot of fun but as most of us never wore these watches, either we are influenced by the brands’ social media presence (hence the over-representation of American brands, maybe?) or the few watches we own.

Also, what about voting for models rather than brands?

I do not care for this watch and queuing up is not an option for me. However there is a part of me that enjoys seeing brick-and-mortar shops thrive and watches be popular.
