Question about name translation: does it mean anything?

The Atlantic company was established in 1888 in Switzerland. Some vintage watches are named EKB as well, after the founder Eduard Kummer Bettlach. Their Worldmaster series is sometimes called Weltmeister (in German), Världsmästarur (in Swedish), or Worldmaster (in English then, correctly on their official webpage). I like the design of their vintage models very much.
Is the translation of this series name something I should be concerned about (fake & "homage" watches) or is it a common practice with other brands?

If your concern is whether someone out there is creating fake Worldmaster watches, I think that it is highly unlikely. Atlantic was sold to Eastern Europe and other emerging markets and were considered luxury in their time in those places. You may find that movements have been swapped and that the vintage pieces are heavily worn, but I doubt that you will encounter outright fakes. (I have seen some "too good to be true" fantasy dials from sellers in India, but that goes for any brand that they sell.)
