No. It is way too optimistically priced, but I don't like the Twelve - dislike integrated Genta homage style bracelets and don't like titanium . I actually really like the skeleton dial & movement tho, so I'm in the minority.

Good luck to them 👍🏻

·

It is like czapek etc. I liked the twelve but price too high for this skeleton. I know the mechanism is different

·

given the USP of CW has been reasonably priced watches with premium features, this watch moves it into Tudor/Omega/Grand Seiko/Zenith territory, so the honest thing would be to compare them like for like at that level. Does CW still provide value compared to similarly featured watches at this level?

I have a CW limited edition watch, I like the brand but I've struggled to agree with the current price given the other options at the same price.

·

No, I like my watches to have dials.

·

For the same amount of money I could get a gmt coke

·

I'd buy the 12 SS with a dial, the watch is appealing and I feel it's a good value purchase at 1200 bucks... That skeleton is surely nice, perhaps worth its price, however I would probably pick other watches in the 5 K range ( especially preloved like new ). At 3 K max I would consider it

I appreciate CW efforts and execution of a well balanced skeleton dial, although I find it a bit hard to read ( as most skeleton dials )

wishing a great success to this skeletonised watch.

·

It's not about the price, it's the "dial" ,case/ bracelet.

No.

·

If I had infinite money I’d consider it. But I’d also consider the new gold green Black Bay 🤷‍♂️

·

No cuz it’s an Ugly watch IMO

·

Technically, I like this a lot. Not sure I like the skeleton aesthetic, which I imagine one can get bored of, after a while. I'm probably a dial-only guy, so not for me. The price is probably *relatively* reasonable, given the specs. I'd like to see CW bring out a more democratic GADA with the SH21 for max 2K.

·

Impressive stuff from CW (as per) but not for me as I prize legibility and therefore don't do skeletonized watches.

·

This.

·

No. Bad legibility for me and I do like CW normally.. it’s also too expensive!

·

Would buy if some of the interior gears have gold colors.

·

These seem gimmicky to me. If I'm going to spend $4.5K on a watch - it wouldn't be this. But that's me.

·

No. I don’t like the look at all. Not my thing.

·

What exactly am I looking at?

·

It is well build, well finished, and technically very competitive making it a good buy for the money imo irrespective of the brand that makes it but it just doesn't appeal to me, partially due to the increase in thickness and general design language of the twelve

All power to CW for trying new things and pushing themselves though

·

If I can’t easily read it without my glasses it’s a no.

·

At first I was dismissive but when I broke down what it is I think the price is justified and really like it. It's not a LE so it's something I could get on a year or 2.

·

When I look at this new Twelve it leaves me completely unmoved, devoid of any real feelings one way or other towards it. Skeleton watches rarely appeal to me, particularly those that are fully skeletonised. Whether it's a Santos, a Czapek, AP or whatever, none create an urge to own.

I admire what CW are doing but this is one watch that I can easily pass on.

·

Don’t like skeleton watches

·

I have enough skeletons in my closet.

·

No, wouldn't ware it. It looks awful and illegible. No problem with a Skelton watch when done right and they have some sort of contract and legibility but that is just awful

·

The watch is mispriced imo. It's a lovely piece but at that price a LOT of AMAZING watches can be had. You can get a beautiful Cartier Galbee for that price if you are patient or a FIOS Omega for just a smidge more, older rolex or a slew of different Tudors in that price range. Lots of competition from well established brands at that price point.

·

Looks to be a very nice watch. For me it doesn't work for 3 reasons, all of which are just personal preferences:

  • No integrated bracelets

  • No skeletons

  • No titanium.

·

I appreciate this watch and what they've been able to deliver. I've recently added The Twelve in titanium to my collection and very much enjoy it. But while I can admire well done skeletonization, for me, I like a solid dial. Even open hearts have never really done it for me. That said, I do think this continues to solidify CW's bonifides as a brand with more than well-made, value-for-money up it's horological sleeve.

·

The more I look at it the less I like it, so many misfires. Have to admit they did two things right - adjustable clasp and removed the logo from the dial.

·

No because of its design.

·

I need brand heritage if I’m spending that kind of money. I really want the Bel Canto.. But I just can’t justify it in my head. I’m about to get a CW Twelve I’m just still debating colors. Haha 🍻
