New to WatchCrunch
Hi everyone,
This is Xavier, from the United Kingdom. I am a newly-converted watch enthusiast, so still very early in my collecting. I have been lurking on WatchCrunch for months, learning tons from all of you as well as admiring all the amazing watch photos, but now is finally the time to join and contribute to the discussions.
I have a Tissot Bridgeport, a quartz watch I received from my dad for my 30th birthday 6 years ago. And at the beginning of the year, to celebrate the birth of my first child, I got a Tudor Pelagos FXD as my first automatic and first luxury watch. I had been looking for this model for around a year but it took a while to finally get the chance to buy one without paying stupid grey market money.
I'm taking my time so no impulse buying for me, but I have quite a few things on my radar, that I have been thinking about for a while... I may pull the trigger on a vintage Omega Constellation, a neo-vintage JLC Reverso (definitely too expensive to get a new one with the recent price increases!), and I'm also looking at Longines, Tudor (again) and Grand Seiko. So let's see what the coming months and years will bring!
