I like it , not sure on the price though….. for $400 that’s stretch. If the opportunity arises and I’m not chasing other windmills I may dip my toe in the pool. For now I will admire from afar . Good pickup though !
Yeah I get that , it’s not for everyone , it’s aesthetics crown guard looks , size! It was my gateway into luxury brands 24 years ago , soon as I got a “real job”, so it had a special place for me the brand, size etc. I guess a better question would be does anyone believe they can overcome the hiccups and be a higher ranked brand. The new guy running the ship it good. I don’t feel they are a one trick piney but again I am biased and don’t see it outside my bubble !
I work for the government supervising a lot of people, you can’t babysit them all, I’m sure that media person was let go as soon as it was made aware to them . Again we all know 1 incident does not make a brand. If that was the case I saw a leopard print Daytona a few years back and I would have ran for the hills after that !
Nico is really down on it , sometimes not even ranking it other times just a dismissal. It gets old ! I love all my panerai , still consider myself a panaristi too ( websight not as great as it used to be !) and about the fake panerai that is true but I say to you how many changes have Rolex had to make to their watches to combat that? Sometimes is impossible to tell if get a good high end fake . Just saying the history alone is amazing , it’s purpose built .
