Iove watches & movies and it does influence my purchases sometimes. What's your favorite movie tie in & why?
What's on the radar for the future?
My favourites so far are the Murph & Cooper
Interstellar is one of my favorite movies, the soundtrack moves me to tears while making the hairs on my arms stand up. ๐ญ๐โ
Forgot to add, would love an aquastar benthos 2, Kurt Russels watch from Big trouble in little China.

I am still trying to figure out what the gold watch was that the drug dealer was wearing in Cocaine Bear! ๐คฃ
I did notice OA wearing a Rolex Daytona in the latest episode of the TV show, FBI.
On the radar: My son is scouring the Earth for the white dial version of the Casio "Arnie."
I am on the hunt for a 1978 TI 550 LCD. ๐

Not seen cocaine bear yet, is it as mad as it looks? ๐คฃ
The best buddy and monster movie ever,so of course I had to the watch. "Here's to swimming with bow legged wimmin".

Yes, it's crazy funny, and extremely gory. But it's got a playful tone, not particularly morbid. It strikes that perfect balance that allows it to be a "dark comedy," without going too far in ether direction. (i.e., not too dark, not too lighthearted. Just right.) ...funny that the most relevant description is a three bears analogy! ๐คฃ

Oh very nice ๐ฆ
Not so much a movie watch but my first nice watch was a citizen calibre 2100. I was surprised to see it in Parks and Rec on Ron Swanson's wrist.
Probably the Arnie ๐ค But he also wore an AP in The Sixt Day. Pretty cool.
Big Trouble in Little China is one of my all time favorite movies and I didn't know Kurt was wearing an AquaStar ๐คฏ
My only movie watch. Wolf of Wall Street. Matthew McConaughey.
This Bad Boy right here! Where to begin? Goodfellas, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Rain Man, Vice, Unlawful Entry, Carlito's Way, Glengarry Glen Ross ("See this watch right here...") and countless other lesser films. Growing up a poor kid in a bad neighborhood fostered some admittedly over the top aspirational goals and the yellow gold Day-Date was the apex of what I thought it meant to be self made. School, hard work and good luck brought this Rollie into my life and of course it's not going anywhere.

And became a Luminox fanboy since, Love their designs.

Ha! Perhaps, but I didn't know many yuppies in the hood. I saw it worn mostly by captains of industry, politicians and gangsters (same thing? Lol) Looks great even with a black t-shirt and jeans though most haters assume you're wearing a fake.
Murph of course!
Floating shot in homage to the movie's ending
And how I did it ๐
Obvious, but still true!
im a big fan of matthew mcconaughey when he play serious character in the movie. also the choice is a watch which practically affordable for every people so his lorus tidal on true detective and well of course murph, i mean who doesnt like the murph ๐

Tony Soprano too! Definitely for a Mafia Made Man

Definitely Apollo 13 and the Speedy for me too! Iโm more of a space nerd than a watch nerd, and thatโs saying something!
My wife stole this from me after I realized it's too small for my tastes...but by far my favorite movie watch.
Beef it up on a bund ๐
Murph of course!

Fantastic shots and an awesome watch & you got the box, weljel ๐
For me, it is the Seiko Arnie.
My own SNJ025
I also like the Seiko Sport 100 worn in Octopussy.
My own Silver Wave
Seiko Arnie and the Hamilton Murph!
It's gotta be my Zissou dial amphibia(the life aquatic). the size is just perfect on my wrist and I love it's vintage profile with its domed acrilic and coined edge bezel. Definitely didn't think I'd end up liking it as much as I do. It's honestly my second favorite watch.
Murph. For the father-daughter connection in the movie.
My Willard see's the most wrist time. It's most comfortable and all around usable watch. I would even wear it as a dress watch
Not owned but on the lookout for this, 1950s (I think) Tissot worn by James Stewart in Hitchcockโs Rear Window. Iโd call it a grail except itโs not. Iโm on the lookout but not actively looking.
Murphhhhh
and of course!, modern days of MI6 | 007 James Bond
